I felt like a Paradise when I entered the resort because it was very beautiful with all the greenery trees and clean swimming pool. The room was nice and clean with good and stylish designer Worob. The bathroom was also clean and properly maintained hygine. The food was served hot and it was tasty and delicious. The staffs were very friendly and co-operative. We enjoyed the food, the stay as well as the swimming pool.

The decoration of the resort is good. This includes the interior design details. However few fundamental issues in rooms and services: (1) Beds are very low. Difficult for people to board and deboard esp elders. (2)Washrooms smell of puke in the night time. (Ie in higher rate rooms in our case) (3)Room service is strictly not available after 7pm. (4) they will not provide extra drinking water other than 4 bottles of 500 ml bottles. They insist guests to buy from restaurant. (5) glass sliding door in washroom is very risky. Good points: (1)Food quality is decent. Both indian and chinese. (2)Pool is clean and big. (3)Outdoor decor is well maintained. (4) staff is courteous however they are very short staffed. Overall room rent is not commensurate to the service.

I stayed here on 17th April. I booked a suite room. Now after check in at Suit no 1 we found AC is not working in bedroom as well as Dinning room. After complaining since 1 hour they bound to change our room. Now they gave us Suite no 3. Which is better than 1. Room AC is very fine but Dinning room AC is so so. Lunch we have ordered Bengali cuisine which is really good. Dinner time we ordered chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. So horrible in taste and we had ever had a such bad Chinese preparation. Never ever order Chinese preparation here. Now come to complementary Breakfast. It was so so bad. They provide normal temperature ( No cold) juice in break fast. Chowmin was terrible. No tea or coffee in breakfast. And also they don't even run their AC in dinning hall while time of breakfast. Terrible experience. Front office customer care executive don't even know how to handle with guest. I think Swimming pool water they don't even filtering. It's totally unhygienic. I would suggest it's waste of money and try to avoid this resort because it's over hiped.

Worst experience! Never book this for any family and friendly gathering.Manger and front desk staffs are so arogent that they are not bothering any complaints. Charges are too much but food and services are in such a pathitic conditions that they are fooling customers in name of resort. They don't even know the meaning of hospitality.

If any one decided to stay at Vedam Eco Resort, he/she will definitely have new experience of getting insulted. Even you would not get extra spoon or plate at timing of having lunch or dinner. You will be stated lots of rule at time of using any amenities of resort. Very bad place to stay.

The property is very nice. As in the name, it embraces eco-tourism. For a short visit it's nice. Also recommended as stay-cation. Pros: 1. Rooms are large enough. Designed with indigenous products and murals. 2. Swimming pool is good length. Good for a long swim. 3. Gardens are well appointed. Flowers all around. 4. One can take a stroll and spend a nice evening. 5. Games room has 4/5 indoor games good enough to play through a day. 6. Food is good. Tasty and good quantity. Price is on the higher end for no good reason. 7. The staffs are very well behaved and warm. They try to attend to every problem. Cons: 1. The service isn't upto the mark. Once a property crosses a price-point, in this case 7,000/- INR per night (with breakfast) the service should be upto the mark as well. They are Manning the service of the resort with locals who are hardly trained in hospitality sector. Even with the best of intentions they cannot understand the basic needs and lacks readiness. 2. It being a pet friendly resort we found unwarranted smells and pet hair at many places like couches. 3. The washroom was horribly smelly. Used it just coz there was no other option. 4. Highly understaffed. 5. Check room after check in as we had variety of unworkable equipments like electric kettle, soap dispenser, etc. Tips: Bring loads of drinking water as except the first 1 litre rest of the mineral water bottles are charged unnecessarily. Even a bucket of ice is charged. Though there are not much mosquito -s there are varied insects and flies. Carrying an Insect repellent is advisable. Booking directly might be cheaper.

We had booked 9 rooms for a night stay and went to the resort on 13th May 2023. The rooms which we had booked costed Rs 6000/- per couple for one night and extra bed they charged Rs 500/- for our children. The reason I mentioned room rate because when you pay such a price for a night stay your expectation of a quality service also is high. But when we went there we were not even offered water forget about expecting a welcome drink. You can feel the shortage of staff from the time you enter the resort. The owner hardly bothers about the quality service is my take from this stay. I was staying in Shruti 4 where I had to take wooden stairs and they were in such a bad condition that I had to be very very cautious while going up or coming down.. The food is below average compared to the price charged. I am talking about vegetarian food as we were all vegans. The so called restaurant and the utensils also needs a relook. I am damn sure if you go there with your family (couples and children) you will never again book this resort in future. The owners, I dont know who they are but they, cannot run this business for long with present quality of service and mind it, it is not the staff that are at fault. It is the quality of staff you recruit and the service you provide is the challenge.
