This hotel is rubbish, like a brutal gang in a movie. I kept banging on the door in my underwear. They told me that I had to check out at 11 o'clock. I said that they didn't tell me to check out at 11 o'clock when I checked in, and asked me to give them 30 minutes to pack my luggage. They told me in a very bad tone that they only had 5 minutes to pack their luggage and leave. I was ten minutes late, and they asked a gardener to kick me out. Oh my god, this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this.

The hotel was inviting, relaxing, friendly, clean and just a joy to be at. The views are amazing and the food is faultless - actually the only fault is that I was too full to eat two courses at breakfast! I will definitely be coming back.

One of our favourite places to escape to. Hotel is beautifully situated, surrounded by the Derbyshire countryside. Easy access to hill walks and local towns such as Castleton. Rooms are comfortable and some have lovely views to the hills. Restaurant serves great food with fine dining for evening meals and delicious breakfasts. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa is small but very pleasant after a good hill walk. The only thing that I think could be better is the garden. It is in a lovely sunny position overlooking the hills but not made the best of with attractive plants or landscaping. However, this in no way detracts from the general beauty of the place.

Really friendly staff, fab room and brilliant food! Location was great for the ‘losehill loop’ walking route. Close enough to walk into hope to enjoy the local pubs.

We had an amazing time at Losehill House celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn't fault the location, our suite or the friendliness of the staff. The food was truly delicious. Presentation, service & taste were faultless. We both had wonderful, relaxing massages & enjoyed some great walks from our location. I would love to visit again
