Property Description

Lakefront property on Houston County Lake with two 600 SQ ft cabins. Each cabin can sleep up to eight in two bedrooms and a loft and they rent separately. Beds: Queen in Master, bunk Full Size in guest, queen in the loft. Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided for each cabin. Shared outdoor kitchen with a BBQ pit, sink, electrical outlets, and countertop. The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's definitely a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :) The main driveway is pretty steep but hasn't caused any issues. There are 3 alternate routes so any vehicle will be fine. An Outstanding Cabin on the Lake Our host was perfect. The attention to details made our stay wonderful. The view from our cabin windows of the lake made the start of each day peaceful. I hope to return on my next visit to Crockett Texas. You will enjoy Gene and the Texas hospitality.

Relaxing getaway at Stewart Cove Great spot to get away from the city and enjoy nature! Beautiful views of the lake from the cabin. Gene was a great host and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and especially kid friendly.
