Paul, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable, internet good (need a password), water gets hotter as you let it run. I came to Houston for a Solidworks conference on my own dime. The 10 minute train ride drops you off right at the convention center. Tip: bring your own or go to CVS on Polk street and get some ear plugs. The train goes by every 15 minutes, bring a cup that you can put in the microwave and make your own coffee. You are about 15 minutes by Lyft to the Houston Museum of Science which I recommend. For food, I recommend Kim Son and the Phoenicia market.

Enjoyed my 3 night stay, very affordable. Room was clean and well-lit, had a fridge, microwave, TV with cable, desk, and couch, in addition to the bed. Bathroom was clean, too. Hardworking couple runs the place.
I will say, the neighborhood is a bit blighted, but I had no problems. Bus service is okay around the area, too. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Htown.

I appreciated the discounted rate at this location. In general it was clean and had the essentials. I did receive a towel that had a stain on it. But all in all a good stay!

The property and room itself was great and spacey. The area isn't the best and like other complains. There's trains that come early I'm morning if that bothers you. Other than that, you can't beat the price and quality.

A great place to stay if you need to be close to Downtown Houston on a budget. The property is well lighted, grounds are clean and well maintained. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and shower was hot. Desk clerk was super friendly and answered all my questions as a “newbie” to the downtown Houston/riding the Metro scene.
