The Art House Hove

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. A fridge was provided with fresh milk and there was also access to a kitchenette for making snacks. The decor was very artistic as Liz is an artist. Dexter and Liz were very welcoming. There are cafes close by for breakfast and the sea is a short walk away.

Hosts were lovely. Stunning décor, very calm and civilised experience. Great having a fridge, kitchenette. Added luxury of TV. Bath amazing. Single beds are big and still spacious with two guests. Location is ideal and very much at the heart of Hove with a short walk to the seafront. Also very quiet in the evening. Couldn't fault it - perfect

Had two nights at the Art House. Beautiful rooms up two flights of stairs. Everything you would need and more. The bathroom mosaic floor is simply stunning. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and accompanied by relaxing classical music. The house is full of beautiful things. Brighton is an easy walk, about 25 mins. We got the bus back.... Dexter and Liz are lovely, Dexter had loads of good tips on places for coffee, people watching, tea, dinner anything. We would definitely return, and wish them all the best of luck - not that they need it. Thanks.

We were visiting Hove to attend a friend's wedding and found The Art House on-line. It was everything we might have hoped for. The room was flooded with sunlight as we arrived, but it didn't need special lighting - the decor and furnishings were excellent, the bed was generous and comfortable, there were books on the shelf, a kettle and courtesy tray, fresh flowers in our room, bathrobes provided, and a bathroom kitted out to a very high standard. Breakfast was a delight - perfectly cooked and with ample choice. Dexter and Liz are excellent hosts - good conversation if you want it - peace and privacy if you don't. Liz's mosaics are evident in every room, and a delight to behold. The house is filled with art and artefacts - something at every turn. One of our top-rated B&B's. Try it for yourself!

The house is beautiful and decorated with Liz's mosaics and stained glass. My room was on the top floor with a large cosy bed and was a good size. The kitchenette was next door. The house is ideally placed with lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to the beach. Liz was friendly and helpful.

Have stayed here previously as very well located in Hove. Liz and Dexter are great hosts and the room is perfect for us so we will definitely be staying again. The facilities in the room are great with a lovely shower and nice bathroom products.
