Loved the rustic feel in the dining area. Enjoyed the scrumptious dinner and breakfast. Perfect morning view. Met the friendly horses. The room was nice and spacious, you could hardly watch the TV from the bed as it is very tiny. The bathroom needs a total revamp and the carpet in the room needs to be changed.

A beautiful setting. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. A little more attention to our room would have been helpful. No drinking water supplied in the room and coffee tea was basic. Information pack with wi-fi password, duty manager contact would have been helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Just a little more attention to detail to improve my star rating.

We can not thank the team at Halliwell Country Inn enough for their generous support of our NPO conference hosted at their venue. The food as amazing, their hospitality excellent and attentiveness to our groups needs to exceptional. We are so privileged to have businesses like this who support community work like ours.

Really enjoyed our stay at Halliwell. I think it will be my preferred Midlands stay (after trying countless venues). Comfortable beds & rooms, welcoming spaces, beautiful views & DELICIOUS food. Really enjoyed it.

Good comfortable place to stay whilst touring the KZN midlands. Large rooms with a fireplace for chilly evenings. Good tasty diner and breakfast.
