The location was good and within walking distance to hiking trails. However, some of these trails are closed off due to a fire that happened two years ago. Beds were also comfortable and not sunken in. At first glance, the hotel seemed chic, clean, and modern, but upon closer inspection, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The carpet wasn’t clean and the sofa (which converts into a sofa bed) was so bent out of shape and uncomfortable. During our three-day stay, the room was never properly cleaned—only the towels were replaced, and the trash bin was emptied. The kitchen area was another disappointment. The dishes were dirty, and we had to wash them ourselves before using them. The bed sheets were also a problem, as there were hairs from the previous guest still on them, making it clear that they hadn’t been properly changed. Additionally, the showers had mold on the floors and tiles, which showed that the rooms were cleaned with the same lackluster approach as the overall service. As for the staff, most seemed unfriendly and unmotivated. Smiles and greetings were rare, and the service didn’t have the warm, welcoming feel one would expect from a modern and pricey establishment. It’s a total shame because the pictures make the hotel appear new and modern, but in reality, it seems to be degrading in quality due to the staff's lackluster efforts and poor customer service. I would highly recommend not staying in the hotel itself. However, if you must stay here, the bungalows might be a better option. That said, be prepared for staff that are only half-friendly and a lack of the hospitality you’d expect in a place like this!

everything was great ,but we have neighbor who was talking for 6 hours non stop ,witch was really annoying, but after that the rest of the day was perfect .So in general great place to stay and have nice weekend

We stayed three nights in late May 2023. We were on a self-catering holiday so took an apartment on the first floor with a small kitchen area. The apartment was clean and modern, reasonably spacious and generally well-equipped with a sitting area and separate bedroom. The bathroom looked brand new. The staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful and spoke at least three languages (English, German and Czech). A strange omission in the facilities was a table to eat at - given that it is a self-catering apartment this really should be addressed. There was space enough for a small table and chairs for two but this was filled by two armchairs which weren't really needed given that there was already a large sofa and coffee table. Also the apartment had no terrace or outside access which given the pleasant location and excellent weather was a shame. The "studios" nearby do have outside access but apparently no kitchen. Because we were self-catering we didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked fine and the menu and prices seemed OK too. Free parking is available for guests - an important plus because parking in tourist places in CZ can be a bit of a challenge. Good fast and stable internet.

Hotel U Forta is located in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. From here, you're just a stonethrow away from hiking paths and biking trails. The hotel is nice, clean and modern. You can either stay in regular hotel rooms or in individual cabins (which are a bit more luxury). My room at the hotel had everything I needed. It was quiet and the water in the shower was really hot. The breakfast buffé and restaurant are located in other buildings, close to the main buildning. The breakfast was good, with both warm and cold food. The only thing I missed was healthier granola/müesli, since the ones at the buffe were very "sugarish". But except for that, the breakfast was colorful, tasty and gave a lot of energy for a whole day in the nationalpark.

Air too dry in the rooms, ventilation system might be better, but overall it was a pleasant stay, rooms were clean and if any need(additional towels, sanity kits, reservation for the restaurant) receptionist helped with everything.

Very nice hotel, modern rooms, very clean and great location. Stuff very professional. Breakfest good enough. Restaurant of the hotel also very pleasant. Quiet place just next to the national park. We had a great time there.
