Hua Hin Hotels with Pools

Excellent Service! A big thank you to Champ, duty manager on reception, who from the moment we arrived made our family trip special! We were due to only stay a few days but decided to stay longer as the service was excellent and the facilities great. Huge pool, waterslide, kids club and bars/ food all terrific.

The outside amenities are top notch with beautiful decoration. Once you hit the inside of the room it’s spacious but the furnishings are old, the bedding is that of a college dorm with two rags as pillows and some cheap stuffed animals as throws. The electrical outlets worked half the time and the elevator broke down. The interior towels and bedding reminded me of the cheap stuff used in cheap hotels in China. Other than that the staff is super nice and helpful. I’d stay again just for the swimming pool.

We had the best relaxing experience at the Standard Hua Hin. The facilities are diverse, and the swimming pool is so much fun for kids. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. I loved all the services at The Standard. 💗

My stay at the Marriott Hua Hin was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The resort’s beachfront location offers breathtaking ocean views, and the lush tropical landscaping creates a serene atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and luxurious amenities. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff always ready to assist. The pool area was a highlight and plenty of loungers for relaxation. The hotel's direct beach access was convenient, and the on-site restaurants provided excellent dining choices. Overall, the Marriott Hua Hin delivers a perfect mix of luxury and comfort, making it ideal for me. I would highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

There is a night market nearby, but unfortunately it is across the railroad tracks and you have to go the long way around. At the water park, my child could not use the floatation ring I brought. I wish they would at least let us use the type of floats that attach to our arms. The rooms are clean and the children like the playful bunk beds.

Location is about 15mins walk from Hua Hin train station. The hotel is also about 5 - 10mins walk to the night market and about 10 - 15mins walk to the beach. There are food eateries nearby the hotel so it was not an issue when the booking did not include breakfast. Check in / check out was smooth, but the hotel staff explained to me that my booking was for the economy room which is facing the road on the 2nd floor and the windows are directly facing the hotel floodlights. Fortunately, the room has day curtains at the windows to block out most of the light beam and the flood lights are switched off later into the night. The shower comes with an instant heater and the room comes with a kettle and bottled water. There is no toothbrush and no toothpaste and bedroom slippers are not provided. The mattress and pillows are firm but I didn't manage to sleep well at night as there was constant opening and closing of doors loudly along the corridor in the middle of the night and many voices could be heard speaking very loudly.

When booking the Anantara we were expecting something a little more luxurious. A few things just stopped it from being that. The grounds are lovely, well kept and the staff were pleasant. Food in the restaurants was good. Breakfast had a nice, big selection but was so busy after 8:30am. It was also quite cramped and unorganized if it rained. We found it very odd that we had to pay for drinks/food each time, rather than just paying a bill at the end. We walked out of the bar one night after signing the bill and giving our room number, only to be called up and then chased by a waitress to have us pay. Apparently we didn’t have ‘credit’ on our room. Never had to do that before. The room was nice and spacious but was quite damp. It smelt a bit off when we first walked in. The beach area wasn’t really a beach, which was a shame. You can’t walk along it. There’s just a small raised area with some Sun loungers beside the sea. The pool area was lovely! Location wise it’s a bit out of town so you’d need to hire a motorcycle or get taxi’s to go to the main beach, or markets. I had high hopes, but it just didn’t live up to expectations. For what we paid, and what we got, I think it’s quite expensive.

Came here for a company outing, and the hotel staff made our stay exceptional. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed and well-cared for. Highly recommend for a memorable experience!

Great location to the beach and smaller shops without being in a crowded busy area. It is away from the main roads. Lovely staff and amenities. There are many pools, 1 fitness area, which is more than enough. The establishment seems to run on community produce and support, which is very considerate and sustainable. - Breakfast could be better, apart from the 1st day's breakfast, which had a cooked noodle station, there was only omelette being offered. A suggestion: the food could be hotter. - It was the rainy season, with many dead fishes, animals all over the beach emitting a foul rotting smell. Apparently this is a seasonal phenomenon during the rainy season. It was very unfortunate and quite unpleasant and pungent. A lovely, quiet, up class place, will return.

If your looking for a Paradise Lost Hotel / Vacation then I would recommend trying this hotel. Obviously a historical property so if you are looking for usb ports in every corner of the room, then this hotel is not for you. However that said this property earns its 5 star rating from the GM down, yes it's people who make a good hotel a great hotel and this is a GREAT HOTEL. Witnessed the GM interfacing with guests every morning during breakfast then during his morning/afternoon walks around the property. Key Points 1.Location,Location, location. Downtown / beach front. 2. Good QUALITY BREAKFAST. 3. House keeping excellent with evening turndown service. 4. Four onsite pools with lots of accessible beach furniture. 5. Don't miss ha ING a tea or coffee in the hotel museum coffee SHOP. PS. The cakes are to die for....lol!!! Finally a big shout out to all the wonderful staff who made us most welcome.
