We loved this place. Far enough away from the city that the beaches are very quiet, just trees along a gorgeous stretch of beach. Lounge chairs and seats/tables available on the beach, plus a nice little restaurant/ bar. Some great restaurants, massage places, etc. are only about a 20-30 minute walk along the beach. Grabs ride shares were always available to take us back to the hotel and were usually easy to get leaving the hotel as well, but if there are no grabs available the hotel can arrange a taxi. You can also order dinner on Grab. A delicious meal for two usually comes to around 250 baht, including delivery. Breakfast was pretty good, not spectacular but decent, with a nice range of options. Hotel staff was very accommodating. We stayed in the main building, which is newer and in our opinion far nicer than the one advertises an ”Ocean View.” That ocean view is mainly blocked by pine trees, with a giant stretch of broken up concrete laid out between the hotel and the trees, which we thought was pretty ugly. In the newer building, our balcony had a little stretch of sea visible, with nice trees all around and the sound of waves.

Excellent Service! A big thank you to Champ, duty manager on reception, who from the moment we arrived made our family trip special! We were due to only stay a few days but decided to stay longer as the service was excellent and the facilities great. Huge pool, waterslide, kids club and bars/ food all terrific.

The location amazing. The mall just 100 m from the hotel, some restaurants walking distance. Not on the beach, but not far away. It’s great for those who is in Hua him for 1-2 nights. The room was very spacious, huge bathtub, a terrace, and we got 2 single beds to I double bed - which was huge! The hotel need a renovation, but all the amenities maintained pretty well. The kids club, the fitness center and the kids pool were on renovation. (February 2025)

There was a mix up regarding the “ breakfast included “ package we had booked, explained this fully to the girl n reception who after so say talking to the “ Manager “ didn’t want to honour it, we received our refund from Trip the day after our departure, we took our breakfast and dinner elsewhere, so the hotels decision backfired on them, needless to say we not be booking the Standard again.

Excellent hotel to spend few days away from the big city. At this time, it is more of an older crowd, quite. Some families with kids, however, not much to do for kids except the pool. Food selection is fair, however, quality/taste of food can be improved. Some menu items over priced. We tried all kind of food in few days. Pizza is not good, Thai food is ok, burgers are good, steaks are well cooked but way too much salt, Indian is also not bad. Quality of service and staff all across are excellent. Sports activities are not well planned. Not expect too much. Great place for pretty much relaxing, lay under the sun kind of vacation.

A good hotel for family! There is a water park that is free for hotel guests. A kids club for both young and older kids. Playground nitendo switch PS5. Daily buffet breakfast is awesome big spread that changes everyday. Highly recommend for anyone that has kids.

The hotel is clean and the room space is big within the price range. Moreover, the lights within the room is bright whether from electricity or from the sunlight. The location is also very good as it is within a walking distance (700 meters) from the huahin night market. There’s a lot of food around the hotel e.g. the bread shop and the papaya salad. When booking the Anantara we were expecting something a little more luxurious. A few things just stopped it from being that. The grounds are lovely, well kept and the staff were pleasant. Food in the restaurants was good. Breakfast had a nice, big selection but was so busy after 8:30am. It was also quite cramped and unorganized if it rained. We found it very odd that we had to pay for drinks/food each time, rather than just paying a bill at the end. We walked out of the bar one night after signing the bill and giving our room number, only to be called up and then chased by a waitress to have us pay. Apparently we didn’t have ‘credit’ on our room. Never had to do that before. The room was nice and spacious but was quite damp. It smelt a bit off when we first walked in. The beach area wasn’t really a beach, which was a shame. You can’t walk along it. There’s just a small raised area with some Sun loungers beside the sea. The pool area was lovely! Location wise it’s a bit out of town so you’d need to hire a motorcycle or get taxi’s to go to the main beach, or markets. I had high hopes, but it just didn’t live up to expectations. For what we paid, and what we got, I think it’s quite expensive.

Breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Staff is polite but Not efficient. Hotel does not provide poolside free drinking water. Hotel charged me 150 Baht for one broken glass in toilet while I checked out. Which costs less than 20 Baht in Bluport. This glass is plain, thin and slippery when wet. It is not suitable to use for brushing.

Great location to the beach and smaller shops without being in a crowded busy area. It is away from the main roads. Lovely staff and amenities. There are many pools, 1 fitness area, which is more than enough. The establishment seems to run on community produce and support, which is very considerate and sustainable. - Breakfast could be better, apart from the 1st day's breakfast, which had a cooked noodle station, there was only omelette being offered. A suggestion: the food could be hotter. - It was the rainy season, with many dead fishes, animals all over the beach emitting a foul rotting smell. Apparently this is a seasonal phenomenon during the rainy season. It was very unfortunate and quite unpleasant and pungent. A lovely, quiet, up class place, will return.
