The owner of the homestay is very attentive. I personally like the design style of the room. At first glance, it feels very clean and comfortable. It is suitable for couples or young couples. The iron-containing soup is very distinctive. There is no children’s facilities and no laundry room. The breakfast is well-matched. It’s healthy, but I personally don’t like the sweet potato and egg sandwiches. I don’t know if breakfast is different every day. There are not a few rooms in the hotel, so the parking lot is very small. , Very close to Ruisui Ranch, there is a whole family about 200 meters away! Why only took pictures of the yard...🤣

The water in the hot spring pool in the room will soon be filled, the hot spring is very convenient, and the hot spring pool water is very comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and the male staff at the first night of check-in were more passive and not very helpful. Dinner is very cost-effective! There are not many restaurants in Mizuho city during the off-season, it is recommended to add dinner. In the evening, there is an unlimited supply of hand-made coffee and red and white wine, which is very cost-effective and must be reserved for time.

The last time I came to Hualien was with family years ago, back then the hotels we stayed at were dated and very local. Many years has passed and its nice to see Hualien finally has its first international branded hotel. For me the qualities that define a good hotel are in the details; rooms having double sinks, quality of bedsheets and pillows, gym having brand new Technogym...all exceeded expectations, not to mention the beautiful design of the hotel and artwork in the lobby. Apparently there is onsen as well, which is currently under repairs from earthquake. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and professional, we had a set dinner at the Chinese restaurant and everything was delicious. There weren't many tourists this time around so it was pretty quiet, hope to come back again soon when onsen is open!
