The exterior may not be very stunning and the hotel may feel a bit old, but after entering, you will slowly discover its inner charm. The Daoxiang double room we stayed in was very elegant and large, especially the oversized bed which was super comfortable to sleep on. I am an elderly person who is undergoing neck rehabilitation and I am very picky about beds and pillows, but I slept very soundly and deeply here. A big thumbs up to the hotel owner for choosing the hard bed facilities. The room is super clean. Although the hardware equipment is not new, it has a simple and elegant charm, which I like. It's a bit like Kung Fu tea that needs to be savored slowly. We are an elderly couple who came to Hualien to visit friends. Before checking in, we requested a quiet room with no smoke. We could not stay in the side room due to our physical condition. Although the room had some minor flaws in sound insulation, the hotel met our needs. The peaceful and pleasant environment in the rice fields will give you a good night's sleep. The backyard also gets high marks, and is perfect for a relaxing stroll. The breakfast was rich and delicious. This is very suitable for us who don't need dazzling amusement facilities and come here to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing accommodation environment. The only drawback is that they don't provide dinner, but we solved that by using the hotel's instant noodles and ordering takeout via mobile phone. The price is very reasonable and it is a highly recommended accommodation.

In addition to breakfast, the hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. We had to find food on our own when staying on New Year's Eve. The room was a good size, but when my son entered the room, he saw cockroaches crawling as soon as he opened the toilet. Because I stayed for two consecutive nights, when I checked in, the hotel staff said that they would come into the room to change the towels. I said no, and that they would call the housekeeping if I really needed it. The hotel staff also reminded me that I could just call the counter. When I returned to the room after going out 2 days ago, I found that all the bath towels and garbage had been replaced. If I had known this, I would still go into the room to clean. I would lock the valuables in the safe. After all, there is no need to test human nature. Because this is a trip around the island, my husband's own toothbrush broke, so I checked the government regulations online: personal hygiene products should not be displayed in business premises for consumers to use freely. If you forget to prepare them or have a temporary accommodation, you can still bring them if you need them. You can ask for it or buy it from the business. The hotel chose to sell them, but they only sold a whole set of disposable items for 50 yuan. We couldn’t just buy a toothbrush. Even if we only needed one toothbrush, we still had to buy the whole set, which was not environmentally friendly. What really made me angry was that the hand soap next to the sink was so low that I couldn't squeeze it out. I didn't refill it in advance on the first day. I went into the room to change towels on the second day, but it still didn't refill. Finally, when I checked out, I heard from other guests that they had run out of hand soap, and I felt like I was in the same boat because I didn't have to refill it, but it was really annoying when I couldn't squeeze it out. The conditioner in the shower is difficult to flow after being pressed because of its texture. The bottle is also fixed and cannot be stirred, so you have to keep tapping the bottle to slowly squeeze out enough conditioner. The broken water will spray randomly, and taking a bath will make you feel very tired. Finally, the hotel has soft beds and the basic hardware is OK, but the wind power of the hair dryer is very poor. I did not report the above issues to the hotel during my stay because I felt the hotel staff were all working diligently. I hope the management can spend more time leading and teaching the employees how to do a good job.
