Hotels in Taroko National Park, Hualien

Since the accommodation is a little far from the city, you can also enjoy dinner in the hotel if you don't want to go to the city. There is also a large bathtub in the hotel for bathing. Two people can fit in the bathtub at the same time. The service attitude at the counter is very good. Because of environmental protection now, you need to bring your own toiletries.

The location is very good. It’s only a 2-minute walk from Xincheng Station. Check-in time is until 21:00. I received a call at 19:00 to confirm the check-in time. Foreign guests should remind me by email. Breakfast is available for the trip. We will inform you after reminding you.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the counter staff is also very kind, the room can lie on the bed and watch the sunrise directly, the hotel is very convenient to have a souvenir shop opposite, after entering the room, you can enjoy afternoon tea on the first floor, and cats can be squashed, breakfast is rich, and the dishes will be changed. Surprise

When we arrived at the hotel that night, we asked the receptionist to help us check in, but the receptionist asked us to check in on the machine ourselves. As a result, we had to shuttle back and forth between the two buildings without being able to check in. Later, we returned to the previous one. At the counter, I asked the lady to check in. She said there might be something wrong with the machine, dizzy😵💫. In addition, I booked a room for two people and a room for one person, a total of two rooms. When the receptionist gave us the key card, she did not tell us that the room was a large one and a small room. It was not until the next day that I found out that the two people lived in a small room. Room, I think she should tell us about this. Two people can live in a large room without being so crowded. There was also no drinking water in the room, and the front desk staff didn't tell them in advance. Later, we called to inquire and found out that it was on the first floor. The hotel should have let passengers know this in advance, but they didn't. This was a terrible travel experience.

Book a quadruple room for the New Year, there is a homestay with such a high cp value! The room is exactly the same as the photo! Parking is oversized! The environment is clean and the room is full! There are a lot of board games to borrow, and there are balls to play! Really have everything! There is also a water dispenser to use, the breakfast buffet is very careful, just the dishes I like to eat! Really great! I want to live again next time I come to Tailuge!

The homestay is located at Tailuge Station in Hualien's new city. It takes about 13 minutes to walk. The proprietress told a lot of useful travel information when checking in, such as nearby restaurants, traffic and beaches, and booking ATVs. The rooms are small and fresh, with a terrace and a quiet environment. The restaurant in the new city is concentrated in the old street of the new city. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the hotel. The proprietress said that if it is too late, she can drive us back to the hotel from the old street. The breakfast in the morning is very delicate and delicious, with a cup of coffee, feel the feeling of vacation. There is a Zeng Ji Majuan near the homestay that tastes good. You can buy a hand letter home on the way. Thank you  B&B for picking us back to the B&B and taking us to the train station on the last day. When we checked in, there was a welcome note written by the proprietress. It was very heartwarming and full of human touch. I recommend everyone.

A nice place away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was amazing!

Overall good

It's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights. It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it. The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points. On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
