Located on Zhongying Street (formerly an official thoroughfare), Wen Yu Hall’s main structure consists of two Ming Dynasty buildings: the former residence of a renowned Xin’an traditional Chinese medicine family and the mansion of a Huizhou salt merchant—both originally owned by prominent official and merchant families. These two buildings were designated as nationally protected cultural heritage sites in 2001 and 2008, respectively.
As a cultural themed boutique hotel, Wen Yu Hall showcases an exceptional collection of architecture, furnishings, calligraphy, paintings, and artifacts—all treasured possessions of its original owners. I originally planned to stay in Chengkan for two days, but after arriving on the first day, I immediately decided to stay for another day! I was really attracted by the scenery of the hotel and the ancient town. The hotel's brothers and sisters were very enthusiastic. I felt that it was the best hotel I had ever stayed in. The transportation in the ancient town was not very convenient. The huge suitcases of the three of us were all carried by the brothers and sisters of the hotel. We were a little embarrassed because the suitcases were really huge and heavy. Breakfast and dinner were very good, highly recommended!

從小紅書種草了呈坎的文鬱堂，文鬱堂衹有8間客房，我們入住的是麴生，是以酒的寓意來命名，很有詩意。到達呈坎的北停車場，就有人在那裡等待，很貼心，提前一天就加了微信，並推薦了酒店的特色菜餚，都是提前預訂，第二天早上買的食材，很新鮮，在呈坎的每一頓都在這裏，實在是太好吃了。特別是芭樂dirty咖啡，杯子上還有一點生薑的感覺，超超超級好喝。文鬱堂的環境自是不用説的，超有氛圍，超出片，徽派建築的大氣，又融合了水墨畫的留白和蘇州園林的古典，每一處都彰顯着設計的用心，渾然天成，還有各種淘來的物件，有趣而且歷史悠久。服務是我入住過各種酒店最舒心的一次。管家很貼心，細心，耐心。和文鬱堂的名字一樣，沉穩，內斂又温柔。第一次因為一家酒店還想再來的地方。
