Good hotel with breakfast and sunrise walk included. Provided with down jackets and extra blanket for the cold. Friendly staff. Room was cleaner and more equipped than I was expecting for a mountain hotel.

The hotel is located in the perfect spot for breathtaking mountain views. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely bad...
The stuff is very friendly, but couldn't speak any English.

After walking across the whole mountain, i can safely say shillin had the most convenient location. Super friendly staff and fresh clean rooms. Even provided free utensils such as water and toothbrushes even though this was not promised due to the difficulty in transporting goods to the location. Went up to see the sunrise at the monkey peak which was amazing.
Only minus is that the optional dinner was mid for a fairly high price, however this can be overlooked considering the circumstances!

Not my usual price range but no choices on the mountain top...worth staying over to see sunrise etc.
Great buffet dinner but no cheap alternatives so you are forced to buy it.
Lovely relaxing hotel with nice photography art everywhere. Loved my stay.

I had a wonderful time at the yellow mountain. 客服小蒋is very detailed in advising on the route to take for the climb and even meet the hotel guests for the best view for sunset.

Old hotel but that’s expected. Near to venue if you want to see the sunrise. Breakfast is above average

Great location for easy reach to key sceneries. Good buffet (160RMB). Clean sheets. Helpful staff. Otherwise that’s probably it.
It’s definitely not a 4* hotel: 1) no towel for feet; 2) apparently some dust in the rooms as my nose was blocked (I have allergy to dust); 3) no sound isolation - you basically can hear everything people say; 4) heavily overpriced; 5) food choice is the same every day but some days are lacking basic things like rice; 6) breakfast is ok but very limited choice.

Housekeeper 小蒋was perfect... She guided us on how to plan our 3 days hike on Huang Shan, where to eat and what to see. And when we came back drenched from the rain, she showed us where to dry our wet items.... Also gave us a bucket to soak our poor feet.... Her care made our adventure on Huang Shan so enjoyable and memorable.
