Huangshan Huangshan District Hotels

It is really near the South Gate of Huangshan Mountain, just abt 10 mins of walking. The room is big and easy to access. There is a free shuttle bus from hotel to the gate but u can walk anw. Only one thing i dont like is the lady keep asking us to eat at the hotel. When I said no no thanks she imitated us in annoying way. We booked the car at hotel.to Hong cun and Lucun village and back to.the Huangshan train station as well.

This hotel is quite good, with a few details which could be improved. The location is perfect if you want to hike the Huangshan Mountain. One of the areas where you can buy the bus tickets to get to Huangshan is less than 1km away (towards the mountian). You can either walk there or order a Didi go get there. The disadvantage of the location is, that all the buses, which go to Huangshan, pass right in front of the hotel and therefore there will be some noise starting from 6am. However most people will get up early anyway. At night the location is quite. The rooms are very nice and for example the bath room was very nice, but some other furniture is a little bit dated and shows a cheap design. Also some in some areas (breakfast room) some maintenance would be needed. The breakfasts is good, typical Chinese (not the same as in a 5 star hotel, but you can get many things). The outside hotspring pools, are nice, but they have all the same temperature (about 38°). The temperature displays which are installed are not accurate at all, in some pools it shows 45° and in others 34°. But it is all the same (I measured it). The staff is nice and helpful, however they don't know a lot of English. Overall the hotel can be recommended, but I hope they will work on some improvments here and there.

Facilities: The whole house is equipped with Xiaodu Smart, which is quite convenient. Hygiene: The room is clean and hygienic. Environment: The homestay is very close to the transfer point, and the owner will send you to the transfer point in the morning, which is great. Service: I booked this homestay after seeing the good reviews from Ctrip. It is really good. The location is in the scenic area, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is very high. In addition, the owner will give reasonable climbing suggestions based on the reservation of each tourist's attractions and the situation of the companions. It is very practical. Free hiking poles and raincoats will also be provided, and the service is particularly thoughtful. The breakfast of the homestay is 15 yuan for a portion of topping noodles and 3 yuan for an omelet. It tastes good. Eat one before going up the mountain in the morning. The whole body is warm and full. It is a good breakfast for climbing. There is a pick-up service, 30 yuan per person per time, and 40 yuan per person per time after 9 o'clock in the evening, which is also relatively reasonable. In general, the tourism industry in Huangshan is relatively complete. You can bring your baby with you next time and book this one.

Pros: 1. the property is very close to the bus entrance to Huang Shan. 2. The boss lady (it's an endearing way to address the women who manage hotels and restaurants in China) is very kind and helpful! 3. the restaurant on the ground floor is pretty good and friendly. Con: It's not really a problem of the property. I took the transit organized by the hotel to Hong Cun. The driver was very aggressive in his driving style. We left around 7pm, which is quite dark. He was making aggressive turns and brakes, making everyone onboard extremely nervous. 优点： 1.这处房产离黄山的公交入口很近。 2.老板娘非常善良，乐于助人！ 3.一楼的餐厅很不错，也很友好。 Con： 这其实不是房地产的问题。我乘坐酒店组织的交通工具到洪村。司机的驾驶风格非常激进。我们在晚上7点左右离开，当时很黑。他急转弯和急刹车，让船上的每个人都非常紧张。

Location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the South Gate bus terminal to take the bus Huangshan cable ways (Yuping & Yungu). You can buy the bus ticket and park ticket at this terminal. Plenty of food outlets and supermarkets surrounding the hotel. Hotel helped me arranged for transport from Huangshan North railway station to the hotel and from hotel to same railway station on the day we left, at 35 Yuan per pax, on 8 seater sharing MPV. Booked 2 rooms and was given a free upgrade. Check in was fast & efficient as there were many check in staff on duty. Hotel also provides free wooden hiking sticks for guests, just return them at the reception counter after hiking. After checking out, I was going to the mountain again and to stay overnight in the mountain top in another hotel. Deposited our luggages at the hotel and collected then next day before going to the train station. Breakfast was good, free porridge at 9.30pm nightly too. Reception also helped to arrange for transport to a nearby scenic spot, Emerald Valley, with reasonable transport of 80 Yuan for both ways. If you want other Huangshan day trips, there is a tour desk operating at the hotel lobby which you can book trips further out of the town. We saw quite a number of guests booking trips at the tour desk. Many guests left their rooms early in the morning to start their hike, hence we could hear sound of frequent doors shutting from as early as 6am. Overall, had a very good stay and enjoyed the service and convenience provided.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the transfer station. You can chat with the hotel staff on WeChat. Our receptionist Fancy was very friendly and hospitable! We did not have a Chinese phone number so she ordered food on Meituan for us. She even gave us a late check-out for free because the cable car was not running in the morning due to strong winds. I can recommend this hotel!!

very convenient location for those who want to go to 黄山. very affordable price and the owner and staff are lovely people. the food for breakfast and dinner is amazing and also reasonably priced.
