Hotels in North High Speed Railway Station/ Xi Xi Nan Ancient Villages, Huangshan

Location is depending on whether you want to be close to transport links—which we did so it worked out well for us! Bus station opposite will take you to the scenic area of Huangshan, or you can take a Didi for around 140-160rmb. Bus is about 30-something. Bus takes an hour and the car took us 40 minutes (December time). The hotel itself is lovely. The room was nice and the bed was large (but firm). The breakfast was enjoyable. As a veggie, I ate well. There aren’t any shops nearby but there is a place you can buy snacks in the hotel. The staff were lovely, especially the guy who is doing his internship (I’m sorry but I darent write the name in case I mess up, haha). He helped us with understanding Huangshan park and was generally a really nice person! The two ladies on the reception also really helped with getting to the park! I recommend staying here! Super foreign friendly :))

The hotel is very close to the airport but a bit far from the city center. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach Huangshan Old Street, so I can only give it 4 stars. The hotel lobby, restaurant, gym, corridors, and guest rooms are all very new and impeccably clean, deserving a full 5-star rating. The hotel staff were extremely warm and welcoming. They upgraded our room and provided many services for our baby since we were traveling with a 0-year-old. For example, they prepared a baby crib, baby toiletries, and other thoughtful amenities. The service was excellent, deserving a full 5 stars. Although the hotel is quite new, our room’s air conditioning did not provide heating. Even after calling staff for repairs, the issue was not resolved. In January, nights in Huangshan are very cold, and our room temperature stayed around 20°C throughout the night. We had no choice but to keep our baby wrapped in the blanket while sleeping. In the morning, our hands and feet were freezing—it was truly disappointing. I hope the hotel will thoroughly inspect and maintain its equipment, as this is a basic requirement for a high-end hotel. Unfortunately, I can only give 2 stars for this aspect.

Best services you will ever get! Boss was assisting with transport service which are mostly cheaper than didi, gave suggestions on where to go and even sent us to the railway station by their car for free.

The location of the hotel is very remote. It is an industrial park. The neighborhood is desolate. It is only close to the high-speed rail station. The hotel will provide free pick-up and drop-off, but you must make an appointment in advance because the required time may be full. It is close to Xixinan. You can take a taxi and take your children there. It’s good to fish in the water, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is okay, the scenery outside the window is just like this. If you want to go shopping or eat delicious food, this is not the place. I always order takeout.

Since it was my first time to go to Huangshan, and our family arrived at the station at around 1 a.m., I took the initiative to contact the landlady to see if I could pick him up? It is quite close to the North Railway Station, 5 minutes by car and 10 minutes on foot. Let’s talk about the hygiene of the B&B. It is a self-occupied and self-built three-story building, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Finally, let’s talk about the service, from calling and texting at night to picking up at the station, to reminding me to book tickets early, to getting up in the morning, serving shredded pork and bamboo shoot noodles, and helping to contact private cars to scenic spots. The hotel is a small gem just 10 minutes away from Huangshanbei station, which makes a good location for heading to Huangshan scenery spot (and besides Tunxi can be reached by bus in 30-40 minutes with 1 ¥ from the station). After checking into the Phoenix Hotel, I had some concerns about its location far away from the city, but I was completely relieved the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby. This garden-style complex built on the mountain is a perfect blend of modern convenience and natural wildness. My stay here gave me a holiday experience that far exceeded my expectations. Spatial scale: The hotel covers a larger area than expected. The main building and the villa area are connected by a winding corridor, and each building maintains a perfect private distance. The most amazing thing is the nearly ten-meter-high dome in the lobby. Natural Gifts: * The location advantage of being backed by green mountains is fully utilized. When I opened the terrace door in the morning, a thin mist with the fragrance of plants and trees filled the room. Sitting on a rattan chair, I watched the mountain mist gradually change from dark blue to emerald green. Even my mobile phone became unnecessary. This hotel is also great. Children especially like it. Not only can they go to the nearby orchard to pick dragon fruits and grapes, but they can also feed koi and play in the small swimming pool. It is simply a paradise for children. The complimentary afternoon tea and desserts in the room in the afternoon were very good, and the breakfast was also very rich. The dinner and barbecue we had in the store were really great. The hotel's pick-up and drop-off service is also very considerate.

As the hotel is rather new, so no issue with the overall standards. Typical of hotel in China, it does have a tinge of cigarette smell lingering in the room. Breakfast is nice! Very attentive service staff. Left a shirt when checking out and they offered to send to my next hotel in another part of China, without me asking. Thumbs up

Phenomenal hotel. If it were in Europe it would probably feature in Wallpaper or some other pretentious style magazine. 徽商 architecture carefully restored. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool and loungers. Fresh fruit in room. Friendly local service. Interesting village to potter round with place up the lane “55” serving good coffee and warm cinnamon rolls. Travel was not like this in the 90s. I was upgraded (midweek stay) so amazing value for money for a spotless, stylish room with outdoor seating. 10 minutes from 黄山北站 so super convenient. They contacted me on WeChat and arranged a driver. 15 RMB.
