We had an absolutely delightful experience during our stay at this Airbnb! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. As cat lover myself, I was thrilled to be accompanied by their three adorable cats, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. The room was clean, neatly organized, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast prepared by the owner. What made our departure even more special was the thoughtful gesture of packing breakfast for us on the day we had to catch an early train. The convenience of having access to drivers associated with the Airbnb made exploring nearby townships a breeze. This thoughtful amenity significantly added to the overall positive experience of our stay. Should I find myself back in Huangshan, there is no doubt that I would choose to stay here again. This Airbnb is a top choice for anyone visiting the area. Highly recommended!

The room far exceeded my expectations. At this price, especially during a holiday, it offers incredibly good value for money. Before checking in, I asked the owner for Huangshan travel routes, and they were incredibly patient and enthusiastic in explaining them, even offering pick-up and drop-off services. Upon arrival, I noticed the lively and neatly kept flowers and plants by the entrance, which immediately showed me how much care the owner puts into the guesthouse. The room was spacious and very clean. The individual small bottles of shampoo and shower gel felt more like a hotel's offering than a guesthouse's, a truly thoughtful touch. The mountain views were also stunning. You could easily spend a whole day just relaxing in the room and enjoying the scenery. The natural environment is excellent; we even had the good fortune to spot a protected animal ✌️ (the large white bird in photo 5). Breakfast was homemade by the owner. I woke up quite early and, finding the owner not yet in the dining area, simply went to the kitchen and helped myself. The kitchen was spotless 👍. The homemade breakfast was delicious. Suggestion: The bathtub felt a little wobbly. Reinforcing it would make the stay absolutely perfect!

The biggest surprise of this trip to Huangshan was not the scenery, but staying in this B&B! The proprietress was as warm as the sun in winter. She came to help with the luggage as soon as we arrived. She checked us in quickly and considerately. She chatted with us like old friends we had known for years. She also gave us a super practical guide to traveling in Huangshan, which helped us avoid pitfalls and save time. What’s even more amazing is her cooking skills! Every dish is a work of art on the tip of your tongue. Huangshan’s specialty, the stinky mandarin fish, has a peculiar smell but tastes fresh and mellow, and the fish meat is incredibly tender and smooth; the local chicken soup is so delicious that it makes your eyebrows fall off, and it is full of the taste of home. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the beautiful view of Huangshan Mountain is outside the window. Here, you can enjoy the warmth of home and experience an extraordinary travel experience. Next time I come to Huangshan, I will stay here again!

This charming guesthouse is nestled at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the shuttle bus pick-up point. We booked two rooms, and the owner was incredibly hospitable. Noticing we had children, they kindly upgraded one of our rooms to a family room free of charge. The guesthouse provides complimentary trekking poles (a real lifesaver for my legs!), and there's an on-site restaurant on the ground floor. After dinner, we enjoyed strolling by the stream just downstairs, where we saw people fishing.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet area beside the Jade Valley. There is a small convenience store in front, not many eateries around but as we had all our meals in the hotel it wasn’t a problem. There is only the sound of birds chirping and running river, none of the incessant honking and noisy traffic in Tangkou. The meals prepared by the owners are very delicious, make sure you book ahead if you want to have lunch or dinner there. The breakfast included in the room was also a generous spread, so much so we could takeaway leftovers to eat on our Huangshan climb. The room is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the proprietress kindly gave us a larger room that was available on the second floor, saving my mum from climbing to the third floor. Do note that laundry is not self service here. We were surprised that the lady boss had to wash and help us to hang it out to dry before collecting it again in the evening for us, and also felt bad for troubling her as she is already handling everything else in the hotel. She also kindly arranged for a driver to pick us up and send us to the train station. And helped to send us to the bus terminal to Huangshan. Just remember to hop off at the 逍遥溪 stop on the way back as it’s nearer for them to pick up from there. Thank you for the lovely stay and wishing you much success in future.

Thinking of finding a quiet place to rest for two days after climbing Huangshan Mountain, I looked at the location and chose this B&B. I like the scenery of the hotel very much. It is located in the valley. The room has a large balcony and a view. Every day, I listen to the bamboo forest and the gurgling stream. It is really relaxing. The hotel's dried bamboo shoots noodles are delicious, and the fruits are also very sweet. My wife loves to eat that Babagan. Because the hotel is temporarily out of stock, the boss went home to find it and sent it over. The hot spring has a very good viewing angle. You can overlook the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and watch the clouds roll and unfold. The Jiulong Waterfall Emerald Valley around the hotel is also a good place to go. The boss is very enthusiastic and arranges pick-up at any time, which makes travel much more convenient. The hotel housekeeper is also very good. You can ask for anything at any time. My wife is very satisfied with this accommodation arrangement. We are already thinking about the arrangement for the next visit. It is highly recommended.

We stayed one night at this hotel. It is adjacent to the main bus station, probably one of the best locations in the city if you want to visit the mountains. The desk manager was one of the most fluent English speakers we met in China, and he was incredibly helpful in guiding us and suggesting a plan to explore the mountains. He also explained how to buy tickets, where to go, and how to reach the train station. The hotel has its own restaurant, which doesn’t appear on Google Maps or Apple Maps. The food is good, and guests get a discount. While exploring the city we found plenty of restaurants, but we ended up coming back to the hotel’s restaurant twice because it was so convenient and good. If you’re not staying on top of the mountain itself (you should if you have the means) but at the base, this hotel is probably one of the best choices you can make.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The staff and especially the hotel manager 蒋丹书 went above my expectations! A lot of unexpected stuff happened just before coming to Huangshan and Jiang DanShu was not only comprehensive but also very helpful. I also had to replan my trip in Huangshan and he patiently answered to all of my questions (and there were a lot) even though I arrived late at night. Finally, I was a solo traveller without a car but he helped me to arrange inexpensive lifts to go to the places I wanted to go to and I am so grateful for that. As for the hotel, it was perfect: great location, my room was cozy, comfortable and clean. It was high tech and I found funny to see what temperature I was taking my shower at. I felt as if I was at home with friends. The staff will help to plan the hike to Huangshan according to physical health, preferences, etc. I was also given free maps, a free walking stick, a free raincoat and free lifts to the bus stations. Breakfast is available if needed for a small fee.

The rooms were great, perfect for families. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. Since we were staying at a mountain-top hotel the next day, they kindly let us store our luggage and even helped us arrange a taxi. Its location is fantastic, only a 5-minute walk to the Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Station. There are also convenient dining options nearby. However, a pro tip: if you prefer milder flavors, be sure to ask the restaurant owner to use less salt. The restaurant owner was exceptionally accommodating. When they served the wrong dish, they let us keep it for free and promptly prepared the correct one. And when we mentioned the replacement dish was a bit too salty, they even treated our two children to complimentary Sprites! Overall, our experience was that everyone we encountered in Huangshan was wonderfully kind.

This time at the Perhaps B&B in Tangkou, Huangshan, really gave me a wonderful experience beyond my expectations! As soon as I arrived at the B&B, I was attracted by its unique appearance and well-designed interior. The overall style is simple yet stylish, with careful attention to details and a full artistic atmosphere, and any shot can turn into a blockbuster. I have to give a big thumbs up to the owner of the B&B, she is so warm and hospitable! From front desk reception to helping with itinerary planning, she always had a smile on her face and was patient and meticulous. When I was undecided about the itinerary, she would give me professional and practical suggestions based on her own experience, and also kindly reminded me of the weather changes in the mountains and the items I needed to prepare. I also had delicious food under her recommendation😋
