The owner/staff was very helpful and friendly. The room is big, nice, and clean. the whole area exceed our expectations. When it was dinner time, it was a bit hard to get a taxi. They offer options to have dinner at their restaurant but we chose to still go downtown for dinner. And ended up with them delivering us downtown with the hotel’s car. You can borrow hiking sticks for your hike and store your luggage there. They offer tour guide for the Huangshan scenic area (with separate fee) and free shuttle to the bus station in the morning

The room is in a good location. The boss is very warm and thoughtful. I arrived at 11 o'clock in the middle of the night, and he was still waiting for me, checking in, and providing free transportation to the transfer bus point. Breakfast is 15 yuan per portion, which is not expensive. It's good to be full! Very convenient, He also provided ticket booking service, which was very thoughtful, and helped me with the route planning of the tour navigation map! It's really cost-effective! If you go out alone, I highly recommend it!

Location = Great location. It is at Tangkouzhen. The hotel itself has a restaurant within its premise. There are mini markets nearby for you to stock up on snacks and other food stuff and beverage. It is about 30 minutes bus ride to Huangshan. Cleanliness = Excellent. Everything is in order. It has a smart system where the drapes are opened and shut with a touch of a button. The rooms are spacious and everything you need in a room is there and there was not once we need to call the helpdesk. Service = Excellent. There is a manager who is very hospitable that gave us a lot of information on the food and weather and the preparation for the Huangshan trip. There is also a tour agent who helped to arrange for the transportation to and from Huangshan which is also very helpful and patient. Facilities = Excellent. There is a laundry room with dryer without additional charge. There is a massage service available in case you need it after Huangshan hike. The restaurant's food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book the transport to Tunxi and back. There were 5 of us so, if we used the taxi we would need to book 2 but they suggested and helped us to get a 7-seater. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

Good location half way between the main bus station and the South entrance for Huanshang Mountain. They provided a free car to take us to the entrance on the morning of the trip at 7.30am. One of the workers, made contact via wechat and met with us to explain (using translation app) how and where to go on the trail once up on the mountain and how much go pay, routes to avoid and how to get home. He was extremely helpful despite the language barrier. The bedroom was large and spacious and a good hot shower. The images on the advert were npt as we found it unfortunately. The inside space was outdated and we found it in need of some love and care. The reception was damp and mouldy, the same in the bedroom under the window. We paid for a window room but had small windows as we were on the 5th floor. The curtains and drapes were ripped and need to be replaced. We ate at the restaurant multiple times and this was really good and reasonably priced. There is a shop on site and always people around ready to help. It just needs a good paint job and some new touches in the bedrooms / removal of ripped drapes. It was a shame as the images online do not reflect the actual room we had. The young lady at reception was extremely helpful to assist with transport, directions and travel advise. In general, all the staff were v helpful. Rooms were clean and the smart features were a value-add to the hotel. Lotsa amenities and restaurants within walking distance. We left our luggage at the hotel while we climbed huangshan. Location was within the huangshan scenic area which was right next to the transport hub (see image) to the huangshan cable car stations. That made it v convenient if U’re climbing huangshan but posed some confusion to taxi and private-hire as it’s within a gated compound. But all tat aside, We’l definitely return again is we visited huangshan in future.

Microtel by Wyndham was exceptional. Very clean and spacious, perfect for relaxation before or after expedition to huangshan. Would recommend all our friends to stay here when coming to this area!

Our hotel stay was amazing! The hotel manager speaks English and was very friendly and helpful. He organized a car to pick us up from the train station and drop us off at the hotel’s door. Check-in was smooth and easy. The front desk staff spent several minutes explaining the best way to hike the mountain, and she gave us a map of the mountain and highlighted the routes we should take. We booked our tickets online, but the front desk staff can also help you book your tickets. They can also help you book a car back to the train station once you come down the mountain. The service truly is exceptional! There are hiking poles that you can borrow, a restaurant on the first floor, and a convenience store on the first floor with bottled water for 1 RMB. The hotel is extremely conveniently located beside the entrance for the shuttle bus up to Huangshan cable car. We could see the shuttle bus entrance from our hotel room. Outside your doorsteps are lots of restaurants, bubble tea places, supermarkets, and a fruit store. When we woke up the next morning, it took us less than five minutes to walk to the shuttle buses. Our room faced the street but it was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Huangshan.

Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed at in my years of solo travelling. Toilets, beds and shared areas were spotless. Only a 20 min walk away from the bus up Huangshan, and very reasonably priced. The owner of the hostel is also endlessly helpful and a joy to chat with. If you are coming direct from the airport or train station don’t forget to reach out to her about a share ride option that is much cheaper than a taxi and more direct than the bus!

Walkable to Xiaoyaoxi station where you take the bus to Yungu or Yuping Ropeway. But the hotel still has transport to drive you to the location from 7am onwards. Complete amenities in the room. Breakfast is not too bad.

I had a great time staying at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, and everything was well-organized. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from my window, which made my mornings so much better. The hostel also had a lovely garden where I could relax after a day of sightseeing. It was conveniently located near a major transit station, making it easy to get around the city. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I enjoyed cooking my own meals there. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers!
