The house has over 200 years of history and is representative of traditional Hui zhou architecture. On our first day there, the staff, who is also part of the family clan, shared with us the clan and house's history. It was pretty interesting and you can actually find more of their historical background on the internet. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there and would very gladly choose to stay there again if I ever go back to Huangshan.

You can sit on the balcony, drink tea, and watch the night cruise boats passing by on the Xin'an River. There is also a sky garden on the third floor of the hotel, which really fulfills the dream of ”going up to the house and unveiling the tiles” as a child. The decoration details of the room are great and it is very convenient to stay. For any problems that arose during our stay, the front desk butlers were very proactive and quick to help us solve them. In particular, Master Sheng from the hotel team provided excellent service and explained Huizhou culture professionally. Highly recommended.
