Loudest place that we have ever stayed, not a great place to have a base camp for adventures if you are planning on hiking or doing day trips. They have loud music playing almost every night until about 2 AM and most tours you have to leave very early in the morning for. If you are in huaraz to party then it’s a good place to stay, if you are wanting peace and a good nights sleep I would absolutely recommend looking elsewhere. Everyone was very nice, just not a good environment for what most travelers come to huaraz for. No laundry on site while we were there. Hot showers were a plus.

Huaraz is a town that’s all about outdoor activities. Most tours leave before 7am, hence a good night’s rest is important. However, the new manager of the hostel decided it’s a good idea to turn this into a party place with music so loud that we were afraid the windows would fall out. It also violated their own ‘quiet hours’ three days in a row. I’m sure you can earn more money by selling beers to non-guests, but it kind of ruins a perfectly good hostel for outdoorsy people. Location isn’t great either, and 80% of the towels had odd yellow spots. Building itself is stunning, and the facilities very comfortable.

Absolute disgrace of a "hotel". After over 30 hours of travelling from London without sleep, we were eager to have a shower and get some rest. However, when we arrived we were met by a giant nightclub-style party in the courtyard, with the music so loud it pervaded every part of the hotel. We checked in and of course, our room was facing the party (not that any room was safe from the noise). We went to reception and asked when it would end and were shown an information card saying it ends at midnight. We thought fine we can wait. So we went back to room to shower but guess what, no hot water. So we had cold showers and went to bed waiting for the music, which was literally shaking the room, to end. But it went on and on till 4AM, by which time we had throbbing headaches and were searching online for real hotels to move to. We joined a number of other angry people the next morning cancelling our remaining nights there. Save yourself the pain and avoid this place like the plague if you want to actually get some sleep.

The decoration of the hotel is nice, rustic and cozy, they have a good common atmosphere, like the kitchen where you can easily prepare whatever you like the most 🤭, and they carry out daily activities, the rooms are small, ideal for a short stay, the location is a A short walk from the square will be 20 minutes, I recommend it because it is in accordance with quality/price.

To flee ! The 2 points are only for the location and the hotel and its setting. The service is pitiful, with employees preferring to drink coffee and play Candy Crush behind the counter rather than deal with customers. We have to clear the tables of previous customers ourselves to be able to sit down, although there are two servers behind the bar. On average 45 minutes of waiting every morning for breakfast, which never matched what we had ordered, and although marked in the formulas, there was a lack of fruit juice and butter for 4 days. A bit like the basis of a breakfast... For our only dinner there, the only couple in the dining room, we waited 1 hour 15 minutes, to end up picking up our dishes which were cooling on the counter. What can we say about the quality of the welcome and the information given? Well we remain in the same dynamic, not worthy of an establishment open to the public! And of course we don’t forget the “little party” organized for the employees on a Friday evening, music so loud that it makes the decibel limiter ring. And this until 2 a.m. A horror ! Too bad, when you see the frame...

The women's room was very small and did not have sufficient ventilation. Additionally, it does not seem to me that a bed cannot be separated previously. There is not enough space or comfort to leave things, you see suitcases and shoes in the corridors of the room. I have been in other hostels and the rooms were more spacious and even cheaper. They do not give access to the showers after check-out, they do not charge something that is free in other hostels since one mostly does not spend time in the hotel.

I stayed with my partner for 3 nights. The first impression was not as expected, the lobby or the reception area, which is next to the restaurant, simply smelled like dirty diapers. Super unpleasant. The attention from the staff was quite regular and the cleanliness of the rooms, specifically the bathroom stalls, could have been better. Additionally, they removed our bath towels, leaving only one and it was not until we went to inform them that they gave them to us. We also noticed that they are not very "*** friendly" so to speak. A nice place, but the cost/benefit ratio is very poor.
