It was a bit far from the station, and near to big road, which adds extra time to cross the street.

Good for an over night stay, I've honestly never had a negative experience with Premier Inn, the restaurant left a lot to be desired but it's not exactly the end of the world, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all very nice, the breakfast was great by the way and the woman in charge of the restaurant in the morning was absolutely lovely, I didn't get her name unfortunately.

Poorest Premier Inn Visited You could be easily deceived into thinking what a lovely setting and equally the outside of the building is beautiful- i mean i thought that. Dated room. Shower went hot and cold, signs of damp in bathroom, carpet filthy only good thing was the bed. Needs sorting out Restaurant is nothing shy of crap! Lovely waitress who tried her best but food awful. Extremely limited

Ideal location for visiting Huddersfield town centre and The John Smith's Stadium. Friendly, helpful staff both at reception and the restaurant. Food, though not cordon bleu, was perfectly acceptable both in the evening and at breakfast the following morning.

Pros: Nice staff, good location, nice view, comfy bed. Cons: "Unlimited" cooked breakfast was not buffet style, but set meal, so unable to select own choices. Nowhere near as good as the usual buffet style. Some was overcooked. No hand towel rail or drinking glass in bathroom. Shower not detachable. Shower/bath tap broke, stuck on in the fully on position and staff had to turn off the water supply. Clearly in need of refurbishment.
