Rij Hulhumale

An old and very small hotel that is getting on in years, unfortunately the pictures do not correspond to the facts. We did not get the room we had booked. When we asked, the person at reception told us that she was not the manager. The room was very noisy. There seemed to be no soundproofing either to the main road or to the neighboring rooms. The room smelled musty, the curtains were full of mildew stains and the furniture was visibly worn. The mattress was saggy so that you rolled to the middle and the individual steel springs were noticeable. The bed linen was also stained. The included food did not deserve the name breakfast. Cold canned beans, flimsy toast and cold eggs. We only received a glass of water on request. Coffee was not available on request. These impressions combined with the room rate charged here (plus the green tax) do not add up for me. A night in this hotel should not cost more than 30$ and not over 100$! Then the price-performance ratio would be ok. Tip: take a cab from the airport for 85 MVR (5,4$) and not the hotel shuttle for more than double. Only positive point: the staff, who remained friendly despite criticism.

This was first time i came to maldives but i’ve enjoyed a lot & my staty here was so good & here everything is amazing.. Staff are also so good...🙌

At a reasonable rate for a one night stay over. Room was clean and Nd tidy but very dated. I do not smoke but I could smell lingering smoke held by the curtains . Limited 3 pin plug socket large stain on the ceiling where the fan had been removed and not painted over, windows not shutting tight lots of noise from outside . The room desperately needs attention. One night was enough. Pros Bed was comfortable . Lining was clean. Towels crisp. Water pressure was good along with hot water. Ok for a stop over.

Amazing location, nearby the airport and many cafes, clean and spacious, with amazing and supportive staff looking after you. I strongly recommend this hotel for those they come here for business or just before departing from the airport
