Relax and unwind, enjoying the natural surroundings inside and outside of this cabin. The cabin is furnished much the same as a small house. The living room has upholstered furniture and offers cable TV, internet/wifi and there is also a DVD player. The kitchen includes a full size electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeepot, toaster, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs. We provide pillows, blankets and bedspreads. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a bath mat. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), toilet and sink. We are located 6.5 miles south of Huntingdon. We are 5 miles from Allegrippis Trail for biking enthusiasts and Raystown Lake for water sports. The rolling countryside includes creeks and the Juniata River offering many options for hiking, birdwatching, fishing, hunting, boating, whatever the nature-lover desires. We are approximately 8 miles (15 minutes) from Juniata College and 37 miles (45 minutes) from State College and Penn State University. Completely furnished with most of the comforts of home, we rent by the night, the week, or the month from March 1 thru December 1 (weather permitting). Our location is a 6.5-acre wooded property. Weekend rates are slightly higher than weekday rates due to demand. We may rent by the month with the rate dependent on the month(s) requested. Call for this pricing, please. Come to Raystown and enjoy tons of water activities: swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking as well as hiking, biking and bird-watching! Raystown Lake is a popular waterway in south central Pennsylvania. The 29 mile long lake and surrounding area are owned in large part by the federal government with several state-owned parks and forests close by. It is a wonderful area to spend a family vacation with great hiking, hunting, boating, swimming, fishing, and bird watching. Other popular attractions include caverns, railroading, horse-back riding, lake cruises, boat rentals just to mention a few. For golfers, Huntingdon Country Club offers a public golf course about 4 miles north of us. Volunteers have created the Allegrippis Trail which is popular with biking enthusiasts. Fishing tournaments are frequently held in the area. During your stay, you may be blessed to see a bear swimming across the lake or a bald eagle returning to its nest. This was our third year coming here for our summer vacation. We love staying here. It fits our needs,from the fully stocked kitchen to the fire pit. Close to the lake, other attractions, and state parks. The cabin is very clean. Loved the lights around the porch.

Stay Host (Linda) was responsive and very friendly Place was very clean. Would def stay again. Things to know: Driveway is very steep, not handicap accessible, A/C didn't cool off bedroom but there is a fan.

Excellent We we're happy.One thing stood out tho,the couch was unusable u sink in,very un comfortable,we both have back issues,so we we're stuck sitting on kitchen chairs.

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. It was clean when we arrived and matched what was described on the listing. Nice, quiet area with some good outdoor amenities too. We loved it and will most likely be booking again! Linda was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Always a pleasure This is my third time staying at this cabin. We loved it the fisrt second and now third stay. Never ever disappointed. The host Linda is just so awesome so caring she makes sure you have a comfortable stay and answers any questions immediately. Definitely will be booking again in the summer
