This was our second time to Hurghada and it's unlikely we will return, we did not feel comfortable in the hotel, at times pressured. For example I was asked on our last day at the pool to do a Google review I advised the guy we would do this when we were leaving however he refused to leave our loungers until the review was complete picking our phone up and showing us how to bring up the Google review site and wanted to photograph this. We did this very basic review to be left alone, This review has now been deleted. We were told by another guy selling excursions "I miss your money English rich" the returned to us pretty much daily to ask us to book same trips we had already politely declined. An English couple we had met had booked an excursion with "get your guide" this same guy was trying to sell them the same trip they had booked and began to get frustrated when the couple stated they had booked elsewhere and couldn't get money back some not rebooking stating to rhem "your rich". When getting a taxi to the Marina a place we had visited before and enjoyed throughally our taxi driver suggested taking us "downtown" lots of places to eat and shopping however this area didn't appear to be great for tourists, we also didn't see places to eat our children didn't feel comfortable so we asked the driver just to take us to the marina as requested with this it appeared he then became abrupt with us as he had told his brother we would go to his shop. (This was the taxi provider from inside the hotel) The hotel the rooms are dated, the door handles are broken so you have to battle to open the door, we had to continuously ask for toilet paper, they are currently working on the top two floors of the hotel so lots of drilling, hammering and dust from 9.30am which is fine however when you have paid to come away for a relaxing week it's not what you want to hear daily laying round the pool we were not made aware of these works prior to our arrival. Our sons room was also not cleaned, or beds changed for the entirety of our stay. We were told by some staff the children could eat from the snack bar on the sunloungers however the next day were told they absolutely could not eat on the loungers and had to go sit next to the restaurant in the open dining area which they did, however The following day the hotel hosted a fruit festival by the pool, with the fruit and cake served you could eat this on the loungers. The pools were cold, on the first few days the two main pools near the restaurant were heated, the final two days of the trip we were told heaters were now off as it's Egyptian summer, the children were told no diving or jumping , however other children were doing this and the lifeguard shrugged his shoulders. We selected loungers under shade, however pool guys would put other families basically on top of us, again these families were not English so it was as though they should get priority, they would put the beds directly next to ours so we cou
