We stayed at the Titanic Resort in Hurghada last November, and overall, it was a wonderful experience with many highlights and a few areas for improvement. The Good: From the moment we arrived, we were treated to amazing hospitality, including a surprise upgrade to a family room with two separate bedrooms—such a lovely gesture! The rooms were spotless, and the cleaners were excellent. After leaving them a tip, they went the extra mile and ensured we had Coca-Cola in our room daily, which was a nice touch. The staff across the resort were outstanding. From the chefs in the restaurant to the waiting and bar staff, everyone was superb. Special thanks to the guys around the pool who not only set up our sunbeds but also brought us drinks and added so much fun to our days. The food was another highlight. There was always something for everyone, with themed nights, outdoor dining events, and a variety of restaurants you could book daily. For those who preferred "beige food," the snack bar was open from midday to 5 PM, serving burgers, fries, hotdogs, milkshakes, and ice cream. The restaurant always had chips as an option too, which was a bonus. Tips for Future Visitors: The hotel’s cash machine offers a poor exchange rate. Use the ATM at the Senzo Mall supermarket instead for a better rate. Download the app 'IN DRIVE' for taxis. You agree on a price before the journey, which is much easier and stress-free. Be sure to visit the Hurghada Marina. It’s a beautiful, relaxing spot with shops, bars, and restaurants that are excellent and reasonably priced. You can also book excursions directly from the trip operators there without being hassled by sellers. The Not-So-Good: The main swimming pools were freezing. Despite the hot weather, the water in the main pool, including the one with the swim-up bar, felt like it came straight from the cold tap. On the bright side, the wave pool and kids' pool were lovely and warm. The biggest disappointment, however, was the entertainment. The entertainment staff tried hard, but for middle-aged and older adults, there was almost nothing appealing. While there was a singer near the reception bar, they only performed for about an hour before the entertainment crew took over with activities that didn’t suit the adult crowd. It felt backward—children’s and teen entertainment should be earlier, with more relaxed adult entertainment later. After all, it’s the adults who decide where the family goes on holiday, and disappointing them could deter future visits. Final Thoughts: Despite some issues, we had a great time. The resort has so much to offer, and with a few tweaks, it could be even better. We’re grateful to the incredible staff who made our stay so enjoyable and would recommend this hotel, especially for families.
