Incredible hotel with amazing views, service and food. We were given a free room upgrade. If you are a keen snorkeller I would recommend walking to the veranda opposite Tropitel as the coral reef there is incredible

Very good hotel.

3 of us visited over New Year 24, parents and adult daughter, we had the most amazing time and it felt like returning to our second home. What a welcome we received from Mr Khaled Helmy and Hassan on reception. Check in was organised and quick, (we booked direct with the hotel) allocated our room, taken up to it by the bell boys with our luggage. WOW what a room, upgraded and it was very much welcomed as this was a holiday which we might never get to do together again. (Memories) The staff are what make this hotel so special, everyone remembers you from your previous visit, the manager even has time to speak to you and ask how your stay is. The food is the best we have ever had at any all inclusive anywhere in the world. NEW years eve gala dinner was amazing and the celebration was fantastic. The weather was a little cooler than we expected, one day of full cloud, sun rises at about 7 but it doesn't get hot till about 10 am and cools at about 2.30 enough to get a tan though. The pool is heated so able to take a little dip too. A couple of things we noticed a change with , the portions in Ossiano during the day has shrunk in size compared to last time, the service wasn't as good either we always found ourselves looking for a clean table, which prompted us to go to the main restaurant for lunch after trying here twice. There seams to be so many Managers around that there is a manager to manage a manager, the staff don't appear to know who to listen to which we witnessed in the main restaurant. All the staff work so hard from the cleaners at the pool toilets to the gardeners. I'd like to show gratitude to these staff in particular who made our holiday for us, Sayed our cleaner 1245, Carlos at the po, what a waiter do friendly and efficient, ibriham at the main restaurant for breakfast for keeping our coffee topped up, Mahmoud from Bella service with a smile, Mekky bar man for the amazing cocktails, he is definitely the best cocktail maker. Abdo and Mousa waiters in executive lounge and lobby bar for keeping our glass full, Dina for the friendly face and welcome to the restaurant and finally Alaa from mandarin. We will definitely be back . Thank you PLR for helping us make memories.

Hotel of a very high standard. Spacious well-equipped, clean rooms. Polite and competent service. The hotel is located away from the city but provides everything you might need on site. I recommend upgrading to the VIP. Breakfast in the room is worth recommending version. Once a week you can do laundry, a wonderful option to come home with clean clothes. You can also take advantage of all the great restaurants. Be sure to visit Miyako, Ossiano and Bella.

It’s taken me far too long to write this review - visited PLR in August this summer gone, for our 4th visit. We had a couple of other holidays this year with very different vibes and I did wonder if we should have tried something different for our August holiday too - so glad we didn’t!! This place is fabulous, a true home from home, the surroundings, the service, the total relaxation is perfect for us! Although holiday prices seem to have gone up everywhere, the price you pay here for this level of service, guaranteed sunshine, such variety of restaurants and a relatively short 5.5 hour flight from the uk, is unparalleled. We enjoyed our other holidays this year, but with everything taken into consideration - PLR is in a different league! We were welcomed back with hugs and smiles from staff that we have come to know over the years, the service just keeps getting better. We never upgrade to VIP as personally don’t feel it’s necessary for the amount of time we spend in the room and we had wonderful meals at all of the AI restaurants, the buffet is fantastic- especially the Gala dinners. We enjoyed the evening entertainment including the beach party but usually spent our evenings in the lobby bar, chatting to other guests and staff and playing cards whilst sipping cocktails! We took our own snorkel masks this year and so glad we did - we snorkelled almost daily and felt very safe and looked after by the pier lifeguards. All of the staff are excellent here but I must give a shout out to Yasser - works in the Chinese of an evening and in the buffet a lunch, he is an absolute gentleman and really goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! Carlos - the king of the pool, such a hardworking and personable guy, we always look forward to seeing him, and this year Rambo had us in fits of laughter whilst serving up some delicious cocktails in the lobby bar! The service was excellent! Mt F again went out of his way to check on us daily, listening to all of our feedback and again came to wave us off on our departure - such a gentleman! We have a few different types of holidays coming up in 2025 - but will definitely be returning to PLR at least once! It’s a very special place!
