Very nice hotel placed in front of the Red Sea with breathtaking views, many restaurants and swimming pools. Crew are very nice and friendly. A lot of shows every evening. We have been there with no children but there are many places, games, aqua park and match more attractions to visit

We had fabulous week at the Ali Baba Palace Hotel in Hurghada. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome and were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was plentiful, offering a wide variety of choices that catered to all tastes. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a fun-packed day . We loved the hotel's location, as the ability to walk to nearby attractions made it very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hurghada!

This was our first time at this hotel and our first time in Egypt so we had no idea what to expect. My Mum and I have had the most amazing time and have been so well looked after by all staff, especially the waiters at the Italian and Oriental restaurants, the room attendant at room 4830, the pool attendant, the spa staff and a massive shoutout to Zorro from the animation team for making us feel very welcome - Zorro is very friendly and such a nice guy! We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Italian and oriental restaurant and being able to go between the two restaurants meant we were always able to find loads to eat! Food was very good and always hot. Special mention to the kind man making the pizzas in the Italian resturant. Once you take the time to engage with the waiters they will remember your drinks order and offer you drinks straight away. We booked a few massages and a facial through Adam at the spa, which we would highly recommend as they are such good value and the staff are very good at what they do. We enjoyed sunbathing at the quieter end of the pool which was not heated but more relaxing as the large families congregate around the heated area and the bar. The pool attendant cannot do enough for you and he always laid out our towels on our favourite beds and ensures you have fresh towels. We were in a deluxe room which was lovely. We had fresh bottled water everyday from our room attendant. Shower was a rainfall shower which we loved!! Only issue is we could hear everything from the room next door due to there being an interconnecting door. There is free wifi across the whole hotel which is very good. There area areas to get water throughout the hotel, as well as fizzy drinks and juice. There is food available throughout the day at the restaurant and pool and beach bar. We had no idea what to expect but my advice now is to not be afraid of trying a new culture! You are not going to get the same experience as you will in Europe - it’ll be much better! Thank you for a lovely holiday and we would recommend this hotel to anyone - see you next year!

I was really excited to go away with my partner and it turned out we couldn't wait to get home. I feel like I was sold a Drem and it turned into a nightmare! Not only has it got pictures of restaurants on here that either was getting work done but another restaurant wasn't in functional! The one over looking the sea. Looked really romantic on the pictures on the website but in reality it wasn't even open. Didn't look part of the resort! And ow my days the building work going on was traumatic! Jack hammers going of from 7.30 am till late. Absolutely horrendous! My partner nearly broke her toe on a drain that the concrete had broken and left a rock she stumped her toe on. Have a look at the pictures! If you don't mind a room opposite this building site the good look to you. Terrible holiday! Glad to be home!

I recently stayed at Ali Baba Palace with my partner and would like to share my experience in a constructive way, highlighting both the positives and areas that could be improved: The hotel is quite large, which might be an advantage for some. In our case, we were unlucky to have a room far from the lobby, making the walks to the restaurants and other amenities somewhat tedious. I ended up with blisters on my feet from wearing sandals. However, I’d like to commend the guy driving the golf cart (I don’t remember his name), whom we often saw near the pool area. He was always friendly and helpful whenever we were lucky enough to find him available! Regarding the room, I feel the decor could use some improvement, as it felt a bit empty and outdated. The bedsheets also looked low-quality, although the room itself was spacious. We had an issue with hot water, but I appreciate that the reception staff resolved it quickly. As for the food, while there was variety, I found it a bit repetitive, and some dishes didn’t taste very good. I ended up eating the same thing every day because it was the only thing I genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, the sodas tasted diluted. On the other hand, the buffet restaurant staff were generally polite, although we witnessed some uncomfortable moments with a staff member who seemed to be speaking rudely to his coworkers, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. In contrast, the Shogun restaurant was a great experience: the service was excellent, especially thanks to the waitress there, who was very kind and friendly, and the food was much better compared to the other restaurants. The experience at the lobby bar, however, was disappointing. We often noticed waiters offering drinks to other guests while we felt ignored. They would simply pick up our empty glasses and leave, which I found discourteous and made it seem like they only served guests who tipped well. One of the bartenders was also quite rude, leaving us dissatisfied with the service in this area. Regarding entertainment, while the staff clearly tried their best, the shows were very simple and lacked excitement. The hotel is heavily focused on families with children, which is understandable, but it would be nice to see more activities or spaces catered to couples or groups of friends. The nightclub was a major disappointment: the DJ experienced technical issues, and the music failed to engage guests, who would simply walk in and leave shortly after. However, I want to highlight the efforts of the waiter at the nightclub, who did his best to create a welcoming atmosphere. Another point worth mentioning is the number of shops within the hotel. While I understand this might be cultural, the level of insistence from the vendors was uncomfortable, both in the stores and by the pool. I think a less pushy approach would encourage guests to explore the shops and potentially make purchases. The Aqua Park was one of the highlights: it’s large, has several slides, and the sta

One Star for EasyJet at Ali Baba Hotel, Hurghada I regret to say that my experience at the Ali Baba Hotel booked through EasyJet was nothing short of a disaster. The room we received was filthy and far from the one advertised on the EasyJet website. We felt completely misled; what we were sold was not at all what we got. The rooms themselves are dated and in very poor condition, making our stay uncomfortable. We found ourselves constantly asking for new towels and for our room to be cleaned, which was a frustrating ordeal. As for the food, it was incredibly repetitive and frankly not very appetising. The so-called "all-inclusive" experience was misleading, as we had to pay extra for premium drinks. The only beer available was watered down, which was a huge disappointment. To top off the food you consistently had cats running around at your feet and jumping up at you while in the various Restaurants. Entertainment around the pool and in the evenings was lackluster at best, leaving us with little to do. To top it off, it felt like the waiters and cleaners were always hovering, waiting for tips, which made the experience feel even more uncomfortable. Being pestered by the tour guides around the pool was equally annoying while trying to relax. The pool closed at an absurdly early time of 4:30 PM every day, while it was still full with people having fun. limiting our relaxation options. Only one pool was habitable as it was the only heated pool and the larger of the pools was nail bitingly cold. Hence nobody ever using it, which made the smaller of the two pools with filthy floating bits in it, And the beach? Don’t even get me started—it was filthy and clearly not cleaned regularly. Overall, I would not recommend booking with EasyJet for this hotel. Save your money and find somewhere that actually delivers on its promises.

We were on holiday for 9 days between Nov/Dec. Our stay was really good we enjoyed a lot. Staff is nice, food delicious, room clean and spacious, whole resort is big enough to have nice long walk every day ( you can also run around too) The only disappointment for me was pool, it would be much better if long part have a bit warmer water. Overall worth every penny.

We have just returned after 20 nights at Ali baba we stayed for Christmas too, we are vip gold guests and have stayed multiple times I think 7/8. We usually have an amazing stay, hence our return each time. However this year lots have changed. Which unfortunately made our stay not as good as all our previous visits. The pool bar staff have changed (these are the people that you spend alot of time seeing and interacting with everyday) , all new staff now and unfortunately their language skills are not there at all nor the service. (the old pool bar staff are now all in the oriental restaurant which is amazing) these previously made our holiday unforgettable. The new staff and pool bar service is shocking. Dirty tables, no service at all, could sit hours there and not be asked if we want a drink or take our dirty cups away. my son was shouted and swore at by one man there. Luckily my husband is Egyptian so can confront and did, after that he soon changed however if you didn't understand you would never know what he said. Our housekeeping was standard. Nothing more. As gold guests we've always had little extras, flowers on bed or fruit ect we usually tip but didn't as he some days didn't leave water or clean the sandy floor. Animation - previously were exceptionally good. This year is a new team and new to animation so they arnt quite upto standard, however all lovely people. Olivia bless her is a diamond! And cj! Emad from the ring tree always goes above and beyond for us, multiple visits and still his lovely big smile welcomes us, and all the staff and chef in there are fantastic they all know us very well. Oriental is amazing, obviously because the best staff are all now placed in there. First time trying shogun as its new, it's definitely good food, but service slow and a smile will help . I do feel that food has gone downhill slightly in the ring tree. No fresh cooking outside stir fry like before. We did for the first time ever in the hotel get sick twice and as we are Egyptian/English we do often eat out and visit local places to eat but never had to worry so much as we've stayed in multiple hotels in hurghada which Ali baba was the onky one we wasn't ill at. Unfortunately this time we was. I will say the heated pool was very over crowded, it was Xmas so was very busy. However you have huge pools, we visit all times of year. This year alone we came April May and December. You have not heated the large pool ever, which with the amount of people there it definitely needs it. Staff on reception are always fantastic Awad always sorts everything we need thank you. I will say avoid shopping in the hotel supermarket, very rude. Rips you off. Even when we know the price outside. One night charged my half Egyptian son 200le for two packs of chewing gum. He went alone as he often does, I went straight in and got 100le back. Although they shouldn't have come to more than 50le really. Be careful, cigarettes he is charging 150-200le per pack. They are in
