Beautiful hotel with lovely warm pool Stayed here in March 2025 with my elderly mum. We were both really pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the hotel, rooms & grounds were. It is right on the beach. Don’t forget your £25 in British cash to pay in arrival at the airport! Only a 30 minute transfer from the airport. We arrived late, after the restaurant was shut, but they open it up for late arrivals which was much appreciated - don’t expect drinks though, or grab one from the bar on your way in if after normal restaurant hours. Our room was lovely, large & modern with a stunning bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable & great pillows (I am VERY fussy about pillows!). We both slept really well. There are several pools including one lovely warm pool with a swim up bar. The others were freezing but even in March the sun was very hot so a paddle in the cold pools was great & I imagine ideal for swimming in summer. In winter its shady round the pool from 4pm so head to the beach. The sun sets at about 6pm (winter). There is a self service screen in reception for booking in to two of the four A La Carte restaurants per week. We chose the Lebanese at the sister hotel (free shuttle bus every 15 mins). Nice to see the sister hotel which is a walkable distance away if you prefer. It had pool slides, so great for kids. The hotel decor is very dated at the other Stella (Stella Gardens) so I’m glad we chose the Stella Beach. The Lebanese A La Carte was fine. I love Lebanese so enjoyed it, but have had a lot better. We also opted for the Indian at our hotel. Without doubt the best meal we ate all week & I highly recommend. It was nice also nice to have a change of scene. We also tried the snack bar for lunch, which was table service & very nice. The salads & chicken & chips were very small portions but delicious. I found the breakfast (omelettes made to order, fresh fruit, plus all the usual pastries & cooked breakfast bits etc) delicious. Lunch was excellent too with an amazing selection of gorgeous salads & dips with tzatziki, hummus, tahini etc. I really enjoyed the breakfast & lunch. Dinner (evening meal) was a bit hit & miss, as they often are on all inclusive holidays. The Fisherman (seafood) themed night was very good with king prawns on skewers. The Pharaoh night was also very good with delicious kebabs. There was a huge selection of food so you should always find something you liked. There was always a meat carvery, pasta bar & chips, so even the fussy beige food eaters should be happy. There was beautiful fresh bread cooked by a very hard working lady from morning til night, which was also delicious. The premier league games are screened live in the bar if you want to watch the football. The air con in the room was great. Watch out for mosquitoes! It would have been nice to sleep with the door open but I didn’t want to get bitten. I wore a lot of repellent & escaped any bites but saw others covered. We paid £70 for two 30 minute ba

So, I’m infuriated by the rubbish reviews about this hotel, and can only think they are written by rival hotels/staff! DO NOT LISTEN!! We are half way through a fabulous week here and we have been delighted. Yes, it was a bargain, so we would say it has outperformed our expectations! If you want to get”wrecked” every night, you may find the the local spirits lacking - so just bring your duty free with you; we’re not alcoholics, so have found the cocktails pleasant and like the fact we can have a few without the danger of feeling squiffy (my partner doesn’t drink virtually any alcohol at home); the food IS a little on the bland side for our taste, but as seasoned travellers we appreciate they are catering for the masses; but it’s very easy to spice it up to taste - look out for the sauces and spices corners - want chilli? Add your own! The staff are polite, kind and willing; where else have you been where there is a man dedicated to swatting flies in the bar area (not many seen anyway - they “fog” every two days - or a lady who circulates daily chatting to clients about their stay and actively seeking out any issues? The gardens are stunning and the gardeners deserve a rating of excellent - please don’t forget them in your tipping regime. The massage and pedicures we had were fabulous; even the sales reps who are spreading the word about the available services are fun to chat to and not at all pushy! The pool man is sweet, the flatbread lady awesome, as is the omelette chef. Please DO NOT pay any heed to the bad reviews, they are fictitious in our opinion. It’s rare we revisit a travel destination, but we will be back! Thank you to all the staff who have made our short stay a memorable one ❤️

FOOD. I was apprehensive when coming as I heard some bad feedback from the food. I can honestly say with the diverse group I came here with, everyone found something they enjoyed to eat. Loved the dessert. However there was a few problems with the à la carte restaurants. We booked the Chinese and it was awful. I really didn’t enjoy it at all. We also booked the Italian and the service and food wasn’t too good either. As for the Lebanese…. My daughter asked 2 different waiters on 2 separate occasions if the starter she was ordering contained nuts and they said NO!! Then one of them came back whilst she was eating and said actually YES they do. My daughter had a bad reaction and needed a saline drip and meds. The hotel was terrible with sorting the insurance and didn’t take responsibility really. Both Chinese and Lebanese was in the gardens resort. Otherwise i was happy with the food and the different meals on offer. DRINKS don’t expect to get a good variety of cocktails. I had four different types and they pretty much taste the same. I still was happy as I’m not a big drinker anyway but I ended up buying my own bottle of vodka. SPA. I blocked a full body massage for £25 each so me ans my friend had one together. Even though it was cheap as chips, I don’t feel the people were qualified and I left in more pain than I arrived. At the end the lady made me feel really awkward by putting out her hand and asking me for a tip. I didn’t have money on me as I came straight from the pool so said I will bring a tip later. She took me down to a man and told me to give the money to him. Sorry but I didn’t go back. HOTEL the hotel was very clean and well kept. Couldn’t fault it at all. The staff are all friendly helpful However you will be pestered constantly by the men trying to get you to buy a day trip, tattoo, dinner out, and most of all the hotel spa. my advice is just say no Thank You and don’t engage in any further conversation. Same as the shopping market at the front of the hotel. I was so tired of being told to come into the shops and then pestered on buying things that I didn’t go back. I loved the kittens and their mum that played happily around us too, The pool was so nice and the pool with swim up bar is warm and where we spend most of our time. My fav part of the holiday was the pool. We had a good cold swim in the other pool too which was refreshing, The beach is lovely and we snorkelled from the end of the long jetty. I did really enjoy my holiday here apart from the few issues I have pointed out but they were the downsides and I wanted to be honest. Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel and we all had a lovely time here.
