"Close to the airport and easy to the center. We had all inclusive and found the buffets very good ! The staff at reception are very friendly. We were so happy to have lunch and late check out on the departure day"
"The hotel has a beautiful view and is primarily visited by German and Russian tourists. Overall, it's highly recommended. The staff were friendly and didn't actively ask for tips. We had plenty of $1 notes handy, which we happily gave to the front desk and guides.
Pros: The hotel offers beautiful ocean views on both sides, including two swimming pools. The Grilled restaurant is right on the beach, with crystal-clear waters just outside the tables, and plenty of tropical fish swimming around.
Cons: There's no natural beach; the hotel is surrounded by rocky cliffs. You can go to Arabia, a neighboring hotel with a similarly named resort, for a small, artificial beach with direct access to the water. The all-inclusive meals were average. The bedding was average quality, with a lot of pilling.
Slippers were not provided in the room, so it's best to bring your own. Avoid using a Vodafone card; there's no 4G coverage at this hotel."

"Stayed for two days, the overall cost performance is quite high, the sea is very blue, people are very relaxed... The room is equivalent to a 3-star hotel in China, the only problem is that the specific arrangement of the hotel is not clear enough, I asked proactively when I checked in, and they gave me a list of activities every day. I learned that dancing in the bar is free at night, but I was told that I would be charged for a glass of water. I asked and was told that it would be charged after 12 o'clock, but it was free before 12 o'clock. I didn't drink water in time when I went in, so I had to walk back thirsty at 12 o'clock? It's impossible for me to go dancing with cash in the middle of the night... At night, when you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the Uber driver will not take you directly when accepting the order, and ask you to pay more offline. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault."
"This is literally five star resort.
Pool and private beach was so nice, and quiet.
Regardless of the quality, price is not so expensive.
You should stay here, then definitely you will get awesome experience."
"The hotel is great!. My friend and I were there. It was our first time in Egypt. We felt very safe in the hotel!!!. The staff is polite and courteous. There is their own beach, free entry. There is a comfortable terrace - a restaurant on the beach, also very well maintained and beautiful. You can order breakfasts, lunches, drinks. You can also order food to the hotel. The room is cleaned a little every evening. The room has a lot of towels, soap, internet, taxi call. We were there from January 14-18, 2025. The weather was a little windy."
"The hotel is a four or five star hotel. It is large and has all the necessary facilities. The hotel rooms have balconies. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not available like most hotels. Shower gel is available, but shampoo is not. The buffets for three meals a day are quite rich and complete, but the taste is a matter of personal preference. The hotel also has parties at night, which is quite exciting. The overall accommodation experience of the hotel is still good."
"Hidden gem of a hotel! One of our best stays in the whole of Egypt. Superb hospitality by Tamer and family / staff. Rooms are spotless and had all amenities and furnishings/appliances you need. So far also is the best Wifi accessible even in the room. Breakfast is not to miss and more than worth it - deliciously prepared and good variety. Nice chill rooftop overlooking town and the Red Sea/Giftun. Quiet but central location close to the GoBus station and Marina. Local shops, restaurant and services available nearby. Downstairs is a nice cosy local cafe and beside it a very good local seafood restaurant. Overall great experience. Will definitely stay again in the future. "

SSafirwithkyrie1If you’re looking for the ultimate place to relax your mind and recharge your soul, look no further than Steigenberger Hotel Resort Gold El Gouna. From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of peace and luxury. The service? 💯 Simply amazing. Every single staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, to the restaurant staff – everyone was so helpful, attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. It’s rare to find such consistently outstanding service.

GGuest UserGreat resort not far from the airport where there is plenty to do for people for kids of all ages. Thrill seeking water rides, splash parks, foam parties, stacks of pools and sundowners, fitness activities, gym and sauna plus feast of food choices and drinks on tap. Great service from the staff there and a really fantastic holiday!
GGuest UserGreat location, the old town with shops and restaurants is within walking distance, the Zeytona beach island is nearby, you can get there by boat or walk 10 minutes, there is a restaurant on this island with a bar. Great breakfasts. Excellent service everywhere, the guys try very hard, and not under pressure, but from the heart. The hotel is, of course, to put it mildly, ”tired”, it needs renovation, but the efforts of the staff and the location compensate for this))). I will be happy to come back.

Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada – A 5-Star Resort That Feels Like 2 or 3 (depending on the topic). Before booking Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada, we did our research—watched videos, checked reviews, and set our expectations accordingly. Listed as a 5-star hotel on Google and TripAdvisor, we expected a premium experience. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized that the reality fell far short of the rating.
1. The “All-Inclusive” That Isn’t Quite All-Inclusive
The hotel advertises six restaurants, but the all-inclusive package only grants access to three—and even that comes with strict limitations. You must stay at least five nights to even qualify for reservations; otherwise, the buffet is your only guaranteed option. But even if you meet the criteria, getting a reservation is a struggle, and once inside, you’re pushed to pay extra for items outside the package. The upselling is relentless, from premium wines to certain dishes, turning what should be a relaxing meal into a sales pitch. Oh, and if you were hoping for fresh juice with breakfast? Extra charge.
2. Facilities: Decent, But Not 5-Star Worthy
✔ The pool, beach area, and lounge are well-maintained.
✔ Bars are available all day, and staff work hard to keep areas clean.
✖ Some rooms show clear signs of neglect, making this feel nowhere near a true 5-star hotel.
If this hotel were truly 5-star, there wouldn’t be visible maintenance issues, questionable service, and inconsistent quality across the board.

ФФилатовИванEverything is predictably clean, neat, nice guys at the reception. Just keep in mind that the pools, in my opinion, are heated only by the sun - so the water in them was not higher than 24 degrees, neither in the children's nor in the adult. And you will have to accept right away that there will be only toilet paper and liquid soap in the bathroom, but these are all trifles. The staff tries, the territory is well-kept, the a la carte restaurants are modest. The food is good.
HHuseyinOzcanHotel is half-pansion system means you have a good breakfast and a good dinner. Hotel has her own beach and heated pool. If you used to huge hotels this hotel is like a small nice boutique hotel.
Hotel is very clean. Rooms are cleaning every day. Bottled water, coffee, tea and kettle are suitable every day in the room. Flat tv, refrigirator and clima are in the room. I couldn't be able to start the clima machine for heating but there is a good machine. You ask hair drier from reception for free.
Restaurant is also clean and meals are enough and delicious.
If you will go to early tour hotel prepare your breakfast for free and if your tour return late hotel prepare and serve your dinner late. Just tell the reception you will go early and returning late. They just ask 50 eygpt pound per person for packing the meals.
1 gb internet for room is not enough for the stay but you can buy extra from the reception.
Only one card for a room and extra charge for second room card is not fair.
Whole employee of the hotel are very kind and try to help you but each of them should ask everthing to manager.
Taking pitza or something from outside is a problem. Also alcohol is not permitted in this hotel as mostly in Egypt. I think hotel needs more customer needs and pleasures based; not rules based.
They need to have a fair price for early checkin and late checkout. May be just for shower.
Tour desk in the hotel is very helpful and fair price.
If you have any problem find Mr. Alla and Ms. Ruvan. Your problem will be solved faster.
I advice my two friends to checkin this hotel and they checkin. I will come back.
GGuest UserThe Regina is a basic all inclusive hotel right in the centre of Hurghada. Easy walking distance to the Marina and bars, restaurants etc are right outside the front door. Majority of staff are friendly, tips get you better service (as in most places in Egypt).
Samir who cleaned our bungalow was absolutely fantastic, every day he left something else in our room that helped us enjoy our stay. From a kettle (not typical to get in Egypt all inclusive) to hotel embroidered slippers and a wonderful smile every single day, I hope the management cherish him as he is simply brilliant.
The bungalow was spacious enough but the shower was tiny, beds comfy, plenty of clean towels too.
The food is basic and not to the standard I’ve had in other hotels in Hurghada but there was always something to have. The beer is poured in to small glasses from a bottle and all the spirits are local equivalents. If like me you need coffee early morning (before 7) then you’ll have to pay for it. They have a machine in a little cafe area and at the pool/beach bars but machine coffee is not available whilst breakfast is being served. Instead it’s provided in a huge urn and not very palatable.
If you arrive before 3pm you’re not entitled to have lunch or dinner after 12 o’clock check out on your last day…they cut your band off when you check out. If you check in after 3pm then you can get a voucher from reception which allows you to have lunch. I’ve never had this at any other hotel in Egypt (this was my 18th visit) and adds to the basic feel of the hotel.
If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to enjoy the ever present sunshine then the Regina could be for you.
Some top places to stay in Hurghada are near popular attractions like Hurghada and Soma Bay—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
