It is a beautiful apartment located in beautiful surroundings. The rooms were lovely. The kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed there for two nights on 25th-26th August, and we got to see the northern lights in the night. Beautiful scenery and beautiful place. One of us accidentally left their kindle at the property, and the owners were very kind and delivered the kindle to Reykjavík where we were staying. Above and beyond great service. Highly recommended. Wish we stayed here longer!!

We visited Iceland for one week and this was the place we loved the best! And wish we would have stayed longer then one night. The guest house is in a farm and operate by the family. It sits in a gorgeous valley with fields stretching to the horizon. We stayed in a seven beds apartment, separated from the main house. It was specious, clean and with its own kitchen. The kitchen has large windows with beautiful views. Highly recommended !

Located in the middle of nowhere at the end of a long gravel road. Situated next to a cowshed, which makes the whole place small like manure. Plain breakfast with jam, cheese and toast, no skyr or eggs. Uncommitted staff. Nice view from the room. BBQ available.

Great place in the middle of nowhere. Absolute calm. We really liked our room for 2 adults and 1 child. The common areas are great too. The breakfast offered is not very varied but very nice to offer it. We stayed 2 nights. On the other hand, the staff was not very present or not at all and I did not find at all the friendliness mentioned in some messages.

The property is located 10 minutes from the main road in open countryside, in the evening there were very few lights and it allowed us to see the aurora very well. Like other structures in Iceland, it was conceived after the tourist boom, the Prati is a 2-storey house where the ground floor is only for tourists, consisting of a well-equipped shared kitchen, closed veranda with dining tables and sitting area. I assume the owners slept upstairs, seen only for check-in. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet. The room wasn't huge also because we had a private bathroom, a bit of luck, but very warm and clean.

Top marks for the excellent value for money. Sleeping in Iceland is always quite expensive. Friendly staff available to recommend places for dinner, which in any case are located about 30 km away. Well furnished room with exclusive bathroom. Very quiet location on the farm beyond the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and savory options. Possibility to use the common kitchen of the guest house. Ample parking.

We went in with low expectations but were pleasantly surprised. A house with 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a shared kitchen/sitting room with a view, beautiful! Very close to Seljandsfoss. Breakfast in the main building was sufficient, not very extensive. Excellent beds, nice location.

Favorite address of the backpacker's guide we didn't really understand. Indeed the surrounding landscapes are magical but the warm welcome mentioned is non-existent. The common areas are practical but far from being extremely clean. In short, it helps!
