Outstanding
WWonder orThis place was very good. It’s facilities are modern and useful. The room was clean and spacious enough but not very big. They had a good selection for breakfast which was awesome. The staff were kind and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and spacious.
GGuest UserDespite the price was a tad steep, everything was excellent during our trip. The driver of free shuttle service was so attentive to introduce each stop snd reminded the pick up time on our way to Victoria Falls. Room itself was small yet clean with spectacular waterhole view. Shortfall was our room was too far from the waterhole itself. Nonetheless their service and breakfast were of top notch and view from the restaurant was unbeatable.
What a mesmerizing stay!
GGuest UserIt is indeed a century-old luxury hotel built by British colonists. It shows aristocratic temperament everywhere, low-key atmosphere, thoughtful and meticulous service. The black brother guides you to a special living room for check-in, and sends you wet wipes and lemonade. The back garden of the hotel is facing the waterfall bridge. The most wonderful thing is to enjoy the mist rising from the waterfall while drinking English afternoon tea.
GGuest UserWhat a wonderful place to stay. The staff were super friendly and service excellence was shown at all times. Only remark I want to leave is that a kettle in the lodge would be nice.
HHuppertDavidThe Kafusi Lodge is newly renovated and very clean. The guests have access to a spacious living with comfortable couches facing a flat screen TV. We had the choice of buying and cooking our own food in a fully equipped kitchen, or ordering a breakfast of eggs, sausage, beans, bread, coffee, or tea for only $10 per person. The manager, Jiyane, picked us up at the airport and personally guided us through the town Victoria Falls and surrounding areas making our experience wonderful and informative. Zimbabwe does use American dollars and some excursions are a bit pricey, but overall I recommend this destination and lodge to anyone interested in seeing this world-renowned waterfall.
LLisaMcCoyMy Experience at A’Zambezi was really amazing. I felt at home and the place is very beautiful. The staff members are very helpful, polite and friendly. I can write an almost essay about their good services. I highly recommend this hotel.
RRichard GaoTent accommodation, you need to clean by yourself,
Environment: General, the loud music at the bar lasts until 3 am on weekends or holidays
Service: Not bad, booking travel activities and taxis⭐
AAnonymous UserBetter than expected, the room is not very new, but it is not as bad as expected, and the price is very reasonable.
The room is not big, and two large chairs block the balcony door, making it necessary to turn sideways to enter and exit the balcony. Not a big problem.
The bathroom is spacious, but the bathtub has to be climbed in and out, and it leaks easily. There is no hair dryer and the bath water is not big.
I didn't have breakfast, but I guess the basics are there. There is a free shuttle bus in the town that can go to the entrance of Waterfall Park. You can also contact a taxi yourself or call one from the hotel. . They still want to charge me 6 dollars, even though the market price is 5 dollars.
The hotel pick-up fee was NT$30, and later I found a driver myself for NT$25. And the hotel bill must be checked clearly. I obviously only booked airport pick-up, but the taxi bill charged me 60, which is quite shameful!
KKobe & KyleThe Hostel grounds themselves and the tent was very clean. We just did not realize that by booking a “double room” that it was actually a tent. The provided fan was nice and kept us cool in the evening and pool kept us clean during the day.
The location though is a bit outside of the town center though so you either need a car or to call a taxi to get anywhere.
The restaurant onsite was okay, but it wasn’t explained to us that occasionally they have a special BBQ and you can’t order anything else from the menu. If we knew that at the time, we would have stopped at the market and self catered.
But the staff was all lovely and helpful.
JJunge33For someone who has traveled around the world, N1 was very unexpected. The hotel front desk was enthusiastic and proactive, booking cars and activities for us, and helping us bargain. Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean and comfortable. The most considerate thing was that it was very close to the waterfall park and the town center, so there was no need to take a taxi. There was also drinking water and free coffee in the hotel lobby, which was really good, the king of cost performance.
