Our stay was AWESOME!!! Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Food was great!!! Servers were wonderful. My husband and I came back from a long day, and they had a special table (for dinner) with a fire going in the fireplace for us. We also felt very safe there. Can't wait to visit again. Staying in Hacienda Chorlavi was definitely one of our best stops in Ecuador, from the moment we arrived (with a kind offer from the hacienda to arrange us a transport) to the very last moment. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded with nature, a beautiful light and decoration, wisdom in each corner and lots of love and attentive gestures from the staff— adding to the food variety and quality, there are many beautiful thoughts and prompts spread around the place. The rooms are very spacious as well as comfortable and well decorated. Besides all these beautiful elements, the Hacienda offers a lot of different options and opportunities one can entertain himself with. All of this combined, creating a very personal and wholesome environment. It was an amazing opportunity to come and stay, relax, as well as engage with the culture of Ibarra. It is a sweet, quaint property, but I could hear cars from my room while sleeping. However, I am sure that there are quiet rooms. It seemed that there was some construction and most of the property was vacant (probably due to covid). The property is a bit outside of Ibarra. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff was super friendly. The room and bathroom are elementary but perfectly comfortable. The bed was only okay, but I was not expecting anything fantastic. If I find myself in Ibarra again, I will stay here!
