Be very careful if you are planning to book directly Hostal Cala Boix. I booked directly with them a few months ago which requires credit card information. I tried to contact them a couple of weeks prior to arrival via email a number of times but did not receive a response, I tried ringing the numbers on their website (one of which says it now no longer exists) but was unable to speak to anyone, I texted them but no response, I contacted them via Whatapp but again could not get a response. We did receive a confirmation when booking but the confirmation does not provide any dates, confirmation of price or the room booked. It does include information concerning cancellation but there is no facility to cancel the booking. I did contact the local Tou rist Information Office and they were extremely helpful and contact the Hostal on my behalf and the Hostal did say they would contact me but again I did not receive any contact from them. In them end we cancelled via email but have no idea whether they received the cancellation.

If you go there choose a different accommodation not on this hotel.Rooms are disaster ,we stay 7 days and they didn’t clean our room at all ,since from bigining our room was full of dust everywhere.Food is good but when arrive cold and you find hair on food as well is very disappointing.Pool is nice but you have do walk around 5 minuts to go there.On this area you have to rent a car you don’t have any shops close to this hotel.By walk to the closer shop is 40 minutes.At reception non of them speak English is very difficult to understand each other if you don know a bit of Spanish.

Very chilled and relaxing Couldn’t recommend this enough. Stayed here after a 5 star in Majorca and it was just as good but in different ways The staff are great, couldn’t do more from you. There aren’t many staff so service can be slower (more relaxed pace), but with a 5 yr old and a baby is wasn’t slow enough to rock the boat The beach is lovely, as is the sea The pool is a little walk away but stunning. It came with free refrigerated water, ping pong and a park. Lying on the bed there was the most relaxed I’ve been in a long time Food was nice. Room was pretty basic but came with great aircon. Bed comfy and shower pressure great This was ideal for my young family and the 1 star hostel title do not do this place justice

La comida buena, el personal agradable, la piscina fabulosa, y ubicación regular, lo peor... las habitaciones...nos dieron dos camas de diferentes altura, habitación muy pequeña (5m²), y limpieza regular...pero lo que peor llevaba, que la luz de la terraza se apagaba a las 23:00h. Económicamente, muy caro para lo que es.

No admite mascotas, en un entorno natural, no admite mascotas ni en el hostal ni en el rste ni en la terraza del bar, que es exterior. No obstante la zona está llena de gatos que pasean entre las mesas, a sus anchas, no se entiende, la verdad. No volveremos, sin perro ni con perro

Habíamos reservado nuestra estancia en el hostal con UN MES de antelación. El 23 de mayo nos envían una confirmación escrita de la reserva para el 25 de junio. 5 días antes de nuestro viaje a Ibiza nos envían un whatsapp preguntándonos por la fecha de reserva y nos dicen que por un fallo del sistema no la tienen registrada. Y nos recomiendan el hostal de un primo. Adjunto conversación. El trato ha sido pésimo y definitivamente no le recomendaría a nadie la experiencia.

Chambres sales, douche qui fuit,serviette de toilette douteuse, literie horrible, odeurs immondes dans les chambres. Extrêmement bruyant. A fuir absolument. Nous sommes partis le lendemain matin à 9h00 alors que nous avions réservé plusieurs nuits, on nous a quand même facturé la nuit suivante.

Hemos estado alojados y se está muy tranquilo, el desayuno buffet correcto y muy agradable en la terraza. El personal agradable, te sientes tranquilo, te ponen todo fácil. Buena wifi. Habitación cómoda pero sencilla. La pequeña cala está a 50m y es muy tranquila.
