Grand Aquarium

1st time in Turkey The Grand is such a lovely hotel any issues you may have is sorted straight away. Very clean hotel staff are wonderful especially Salyie the manager. I had the full Turkish Bath and massage oh my it was exceptional such a lovely experience my skin is so soft. We stayed in a room with Whirlpool these rooms are to the back of the hotel and are not pool view and have plants and shrubs for privacy. We used the Whirlpool a few times and my son loved it. Food in the hotel restaurant is really lovely son loved the crepes with Nutella. There is waiter service around the pool Ali is the main one who comes around he takes your orders and delivers with a smile. Would definitely recommend this hotel We are planning to go back again next year We enjoyed it that much applause all the staff

I can not thank Saliye and the wonderful team at Grand Aquarium for such a beautiful stay. From the beginning Saliye goes to a great effort to welcome you as if you were a friend from a time before, like family. The room was beautiful, modern and clean and had all the amenities you’d need. The hotel itself was very well laid out, gorgeous landscape, great pool with plenty of floaties for the kids, plenty of sun loungers. Saliye went out of her way to make sure me and my two teenage kids enjoyed our stay, helping us with booking a Lazy Day boat trip and a scooter for the day, both of which were perfect for what we were looking for. Along with arranging highlights for my daughter in the on site hairdressers’, and a mani-pedi for me, all done beautifully and affordably. The on-site restaurant was brilliant, the food was top-notch, and the bar/restaurant staff work so hard from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, nothing is too much to ask. They’re such a genuine and nice bunch, led by the restaurant manager Mr Ali who was a complete gentleman, as were the rest of the fellas that work there. Very respectful, happy and kind people. Good entertainment, lively if you wanted it to be, but also could equally relax if you wanted to, which I did lots of as I’ve not been too well. The entertainment team do a great job of engaging with the kids and adults too. Daily evening entertainment, including performances, bingo, karaoke, etc meaning if you don’t want to leave the hotel you really don’t need to. In fact we tried eating out 2 nights and felt the service and food was so much better back at the hotel. Exactly what I was looking for travelling solo with 2 kids. My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Grand Aquarium. We cannot praise this place enough The rooms are beautiful with everything you need They have excellent Entertainment and the Landscape is beautiful. But what we find is that the staff are amazing.Saliye the customer service manager is amazing whatever you need she will get for you nothing is ever a problem Reception staff Tolga Efe and nightshift reception all make you feel welcome and also very happy to help you.Ali and restaurant staff are all lovely and friendly toward everyone Entertainment team Charlie Cedric Eddie Aisha Ozge and Baha provide really good entertainment and also the kids club in the afternoon and evening Housekeeping staff provide a very good service as do th Bell boys.I cannot end without also praising the family who actually own this hotel I have never stayed anywhere before where the owners miss with all their guests and join in with them on many occasions This place is FANTASTIC

We booked this last minute and a break for half term. Hotel rooms are well equipped and kept clean and tidy each day. We had a modernised 2 bedroom apartment for the 4 of us and managed to rustle up some basic meals in the kitchen. Staff were all very friendly and the manager excellent. Entertainment was ok, a couple of shows and bingo/ mini disco each night. Not really our thing. Felt there were a lot of extra charges, air con, safe, WiFi, late check out and I found the need to add money to a payment card bizarre, I'd just prefer to pay as I go. The heated pool was very much welcomed but looks a bit tatty and definitely needs a good clean and some maintenance (black round the tiles, wobbly handrails, chipped tiles etc). The behaviour of some of the other guests is what would actually put me off returning, constant foul language from both kids and adults, shouting and I'd say 80% of the guests smoke or vape so you're constantly wafting that away from your face. Would be great if they could introduce some non smoking sunbed and restaurant areas. I can see why people return and for a cheap week in the sun it was fine but personally I'd stay somewhere closer to the coast and more restaurants etc and where people don't feel the need to be effing and jeffing at each other until the small wee hours. Take earplugs!

Just come home after staying 10 nights. On first impressions I was quite surprised how small it was after looking at travellers photos however this was actually a nice change from going to big all inclusive hotels and everyone seemed friendly. Our room was 342 and located on the top floor overlooking the pool and bar, the room was lovely and spacious with a good size balcony and exceptionally clean. The hotel use a pre paid card which is a brilliant idea and you can top up at reception which saves you having to carry around a load of cash. I will start with the good points that we personally found. Pool lovely and warm ideal for the time of year that we went, sunbeds are good quality and very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily and we always had clean towels left and also on our last day our maid left us a little towel elephant with a note wishing us a safe flight home. Staff are very friendly and Sally the manager says good morning to everyone each and every day and bar staff work hard even going round the pool offering waiter service for drinks etc again another nice touch. Now the bad points we felt but again this is just a personal thing. Yes the staff are attentive however we found that if you didn't join in much on tbe activities then you are a bit of black sheep and sometimes get ignored as your not playing the games! We had breakfast one morning in the restaurant bar when it had just opened and the food was Luke warm so this put us off eating there again. Pool party we felt was kinda of miss sold to us after seeing the reviews on this before coming my daughter was very excited to go unfortunately we found this quite disorganised not really knowing what time it starts, just that it was 7pm. We arrived at 7 and was giving a spare table sat for ages while watching the stuff run round didnt know when to go up and get our bbq so in the end we joined the queue for quite a disappointing meal of chicken salad and beef burger thing. Fruit was also laid out but u less your an octopus you would struggle to carry that as well. Would have been nice for table by table to go up instead of a whole mass of people. Foam started about 9:30 ish and my daughter had a good time jumping in the pool etc. Water in the room pressure is a bit hit and miss but it wasn't an issue. Overall this is a lovely place to stay and even after the negatives we would return again as was perfect for what we were looking for
