Best Iiyama Hotels

"The place is fantastic for family vacation. We got there by train and the resort has arranged for a complimentary pick up. The cabin is nice and warm with a full functional kitchen (except for the microwave which kept tripping the circuit breaker). We ran out of food as we under estimated our appetite during winter. Unfortunately the centre house only serve coffee and hot soup, so we have to ration our bread on our last day of stay. My boys had fun playing with the snow and built 2 snowmen (the first one was destroyed by the blizzard on the 2nd day). We rented the snow shoes and tried to go trekking but failed as the snow was too thick. However we still had fun. We spent the nights in the cabin playing card games, something we didn’t have time to do when living in the city. Really enjoying the nice scenery and the wonder white Christmas."

"We used it for one night with 6 people I'm happy to have a family! Thank you☺ It was the first time to check in non contact type, and it took a while because of the malfunction of my mobile phone, but the unknown point was not troubled because it was possible to confirm it immediately by the telephone or the email. All facilities were clean and comfortable! The kitchen was saved because it was good that there was a whole set of tools and seasonings and nothing was prepared. I thought I could enjoy more if there was a teapot and a coffee dripper☺ I was able to lend a barbecue set and have a fun barbecue on the terrace without worrying about the rain. 🍖🍖🍖 My parents were bad at foot, so I was saved by preparing a futon on the first floor. Unlike the common house, the children were playing in an open space. I would like to use it for more than two nights this time because I was short of one night. Thank you for this time🤗"

"I had an enjoyable stay here with my boyfriend for a 5 day/4 night ski trip. Although it's not a ski in ski out hotel, it's close enough to the slopes. There's also a ski rental right next door so it's super convenient. We picked the option that included breakfast, which is traditional Japanese style. Food quality is ok, but can be better. One thing I think the hotel can improve is the beds. They seem a bit outdated and the spring bed needs changing. Housekeeping service is by request, so if you need clean rooms every day, you need to tell the reception. The TV is quite small, but given we are there for a ski trip, we didn't need a nice in-room entertainment system. The best thing about this hotel is that you can request them to drive you to nearby locations free of charge."

"I stayed at the hotel around Iiyama Station because the hotel called Nobel Iiyama was the closest. Close to Kitaiyama Station, the hotel was able to stay enough!"

"The hotel is close to the Banwei Plateau Ski Resort . Breakfast and dinner are also very delicious. The hotel couple cooks very homely. "

"Very pleasantly surprised, each room has a separate floor heating, warm but not dry, the room is very new, there is a special ski drying room and waxing place, very professional, the hotel is a few minutes drive from the spot tail snow field, the hotel has a free car transfer. The key boss and the proprietress are super good. The boss is Japanese but the Chinese is very good. The skiing is very good. It can take classes and do guide skiing. The proprietress is a Chinese girl. She is super hospitable and cooks good dishes. It is rare to eat Chinese taste in Japan. I am so touched, and I check out on the return trip. In the event of heavy snow delay, did not catch the plane, the proprietress remotely helped solve the problem, in short, five-star recommendation!"

"There's a rental for ski/snowboard equipment which quite comfortable. The staff have a sense of service-mindedness. Although their English is not fluent but they try hard to communicate."
