Marina Hotel

Stunning views and a wonderful lady that runs the hotel it’s simple but 5 star views I will definitely recommend it and will definitely go again. The price was very good even though we x had to fly to Athens then another flight to get to the island of ikaria it was certainly worth it.

With a breathtaking view over Therma Bay, yet only 20 seconds from the beach and the hot springs grotto, this small, clean and family-run hotel is ideally located, making it the perfect place to discover this part of Ikaria with the whole family. We would also like to greet the kindness of Marina, so welcoming and full of attention for her guests, and who serves delicious breakfasts on the flower-filled terrace, using excellent local products and making her own tasteful bread! We warmly recommend the Marina hotel !

Marina and her stuff especially Anastasia are delightfully hospitable and in many ways it's a great place. But it's a cheaply constructed hotel with very small rooms and unless you get room 15 which is the so-called triple at one end of the second floor, you may hear a lot of noise from the harborside restaurants below. It depends on the day. Some of the guests also talk very loudly as though they were in their own homes. The room is very from acceptable like number 15 to absolutely unacceptable like a horrible cell on the third floor. The bathrooms are cramped and showers are so small they are difficult to use. That said there's not a great choice of accommodations in town and I didn't find any place that was better.

We have stayed in Marina Hotel in İkaria and we loved the place! Anastasia and Ms. Marina were very helpful with everything, they arranged a rental car for us and gave an extensive information about the island. They are very calm and welcoming. Rooms in the hotel are very clean and view is breathtaking! Hotel is close to many good restaurants and to Thermo. Amazing thermal bath cave is just under the hotel. This place is must to stay in İkaria!

This hotel is a home away from home. Marina (the hotel bears her name) has the beautiful talent to make people feel welcome and at home. The hotel has a very peaceful atmosphere. Rooms and public spaces are kept clean at all times. From the hotel you walk to the thermal baths within a few minutes. Also, you can walk to Agios Kirikos in about 20 minutes. Foor meals you won't have to go far: lovely tavernas are very close to the hotel. Once you have stayed here, you want to come back.
