We really enjoyed the full Japanese Inn experience at Ebisuya Ryokan. This means you have a private room for sleeping but shared facilities for toilet and bathing. There are also very comfortable, relaxed shared lounge and reading areas. The whole Ryokan was beautifully appointed with traditional Japanese furniture. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and despite our limited Japanese we managed to communicate effectively. The room was large and beautifully appointed. The traditional bedding was laid out for us during dinner, which was served downstairs in the restaurant/dining area. The dinner was filling and delicious with an emphasis on seafood. The onsite onsens were glorious after a day travelling and they are not segregated by sex and can be locked so you can have a private onsen with your partner or family. Breakfast was also sumptuous and very traditional Japanese. If you would like to visit a less travelled part of Japan I would recommend this ryokan. Great access to the beautiful Sadamisaki Peninsula. The local town also has some great cafes!

This ryokan is truly excellent in its hospitality and coziness. I had a wonderful experience that I'd never forger in my life. My satisfaction with this ryokan exceeds those I've had from other ryokans in Japan until now. I'm sincerely thankful to the ryokan.

Here, the price is also great. Dinner and breakfast are also very good (I was surprised by the large portions and the taste). After eating, come right away.. You will feel that this place is great value for money. When you check in, ask when you want to use the hot springs, and you can use the hot springs privately with only those who came with you. I used the large bathtub. The water is warm, which is nice. And the view is great because the sea is right in front of the accommodation.
However, it is a bit far from the city, so I think it would be good to rent a car..
I came with my boyfriend, but next time I want to come with my family. It is a memorable accommodation… There are two staff members, and they are both very kind. And there is a cat, which is so cute… .. I definitely want to come back next time.

The fresh fish was not simply served on a large platter, but was carefully cooked and served one by one, like in a small restaurant. I was able to enjoy my meal slowly and feel happy while sipping on some alcohol.
The room was also very clean and comfortable.
The staff were also friendly and kind, which made my heart feel fulfilled.
