We consider Bon Sol & the whole family as part of our own ”Home away from Home” group, together with Winchester Mansion in Cape Town & Grand Hotel Seeschlöschen in Timmendorfer Strand! Places rather unique in style, ambience, service & friendliness.

First class holiday from start to finish. Happy friendly staff who cannot do enough for you and the family who own the hotel are always about. The junior suite rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. If you don’t like the pillows provided they can supply soft/firm ones in their place. Food is excellent and in the main restaurant at night it is waiter service which is a bonus. Drink prices are reasonable. The heated pool is lovely especially in the early season. Can’t wait to go back

It was great to be back at the Bonsol. Everything was as good as ever. Beautiful room, wonderful staff and the family always there to ensure everything is as it should be. The corridors are immaculately clean. I've missed it and can't wait to go back next year.

A beautiful, relaxing, friendly place to stay. Nothing was too much for the staff. Wonderful hotel, room, view, food. So clean everywhere. Highly recommended. The room was lovely with a wonderful view of the palm trees and sea. Meals are accompanied by music.

Our second visit to this beautiful hotel.It certainly is a very special place to stay.The food was exceptional— great breakfast with a variety of cold and cooked offerings.We loved the freshly squeezed orange juice too! Our suite was lovely— private,comfortable and beautifully cleaned. We can’t wait to return. A huge thank you to all who work there.

A wonderful hotel with history, character and a genuinely warm welcome from the Martin, Natalia, Lorraine and family, that own this haven of quiet sophistication and understated glamour. My husband and I enjoyed every minute! If you watch the promotional video on line it gives you an understanding of the beauty of the hotel, built with love over generations and opened in 1953. Our room was a standard room but still beautiful, with crisp white sheets with plenty of space. All the staff are an absolute credit to themselves, the family and the hotel. Little touches are everywhere. One feels welcomed, indulged and really valued as a visitor to the Hotel Bon Sol. There is something for everyone but the dining experience is phenomenal especially dining in the main restaurant or the beach restaurant. This is where the magic really starts ….atmosphere, lighting, perfect service and stunning menus, wines and soft live, uplifting music make the whole experience very, very special and memorable. My husband and I cannot wait to return. Special thanks to all the staff including Aziza, reception and Martin and family who run and share this very special hotel which is a rare find. I highly recommend. Enjoy.
