A charming hotel with beautiful grounds and outstanding food and solicitous staff. However: - many (most?) guests are repeat guests. A testament to the hotel's popularity with the existing clientele - but unfortunately the hotel staff do seem to prioritise and welcome more enthusiastically repeat guests than new guests; - the guests are on the older side. Absolutely nothing wrong with that (and I'm probably in the category too) - but suggestive perhaps that the hotel is relying on existing repeat clientele and not drawing in new guests. What would have been helpful would to have been shown round the hotel and its grounds (I asked for this and was given a map and told it was not necessary and I could always ask for directions). However, there are nooks and crannies and lovely hidden places that aren't obvious and which I only found at the end of my stay. There are some grocery stores, cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Note that the hotel is set on a hill and the hotel set on separate levels with a road between the levels (there is a tunnel and lift system). There is a bus stop nearby which will take you to the capital

The hotel is unique in its family friendliness. No hotel we have ever stayed in can match it for personal care and attention. Every detail is is carefully refined; guests return time after time - surely the very best recommendation. We love the Bon Sol!

The hotel is very warm and welcoming in a beautiful location and the fact that it is family-owned simply adds to its charm. The staff can't do enough. We are a vegan family and they really went out of their way to accommodate us. We love the quirkiness as well. The yoga class every morning is second to none, rooftop tennis, great bars and restaurants and yet it all feels so intimate with the warmth, friendliness coupled with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. This was our second visit and we will return.

We had a great time and felt very taken care of by friendly hotel staff. It felt like the place was run by a family and well taken care of. Great location with lush green environment and nice view towards the sea. Felt safe letting our kids run free in the hotel area.

Everything was perfect. Highly recommend the Hotel BonSol. Great attention to detail, excellent food and entertainment. Sea water pool, mini golf and sauna all added to enjoyment. Staff very attentive and friendly. A great place to relax.

If I could give the Bon Sol hotel more than five stars, I would. It is exceptionally good, no doubt because it is in family hands, and they are evident at all times ensuring excellent service. Varied and delicious menus in both restaurants, where we were entertained each evening by professional musicians. Friendly and helpful staff, what more could one wish for, besides good weather!
