Excellent location, hotel, and service. There was no a/c, fridge, microwave, or iron in the room. Also, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent as there are a lot of mosquitos in the area. The restaurant was just OK. We gas our paid breakfast and the tea and coffee were cold. Also, its price wasn't mentioned in the menu.

Food was terrible, beds were very uncomfortable. The gondola closed twice making the wait to get to where we needed a long time.

Excellent place to Stay
I will suggest anyone traveling to Banff to stay at this place. The service was excellent and the people working are amazingly courteous and helpful. The staff seems to enjoy working with energy. It is an exclusive place and have much to offer even at the property.
Only suggestion for the property is that they should have microwave in the rooms or atleast at centralized locations if they are worried of fires.

I think the one redeeming quality of this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. Other than that, this hotel was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the pictures online of the room are VASTLY different than the ones online. The pictures online are of their newer building with the loft rooms. The older building (which we were in, unknowingly) was outdated and in all honestly, a little decrepit. Another major issue is physically getting up and down the mountain. After 6pm

Property was great gondola was relaxing to use after hiking off property and views amazing nice spot away from hussle and bussle of downtown banff

The area is gorgeous. Great hiking and not too many people. The only negative is that some of the staff did not have much experience. The property had just opened for the summer and some of the staff was likely brand new. All the staff appear to be young from around the world. They are nice but this is not their career and more of a fun experience for them. So some staff was not very knowledgeable or invested in their jobs.
