"This is my second time to stay at Rimrock Resort Hotel. The hotel location is in walking distance to the gondola station of Sulphur Mountain, very convenient for visiting this beautiful sightseeing point. The room is also very clean and comfortable, especially for the beds. I always enjoy the stay at this hotel when I have the chance to visit Banff. "

"It was very clean but being away from town (Banff) it was kind of hard to get to also one thing I didn’t like was that every thing was wolves even in the toilet and in one of the bed rooms you just had a room stalking you of course that’s your normal wild life hotel but the wolves just stare in to your soul

"Although the location is remote, I felt that the appearance was very beautiful as soon as I entered. I booked a regular wooden house that included a jacuzzi, and I didn't check in until after 10 o'clock. I called the staff in advance and they were very considerate and hung all the things I needed at the door. The lighting equipment was very good. The warm feeling is very good. I will book this hotel again next time if I have the opportunity."

"Advantages: snow wooden house, quiet environment, strong winter atmosphere, suitable for two or three days, located between Banff Town and Louise Lake, it is very convenient to play; the cookies are delicious
Disadvantages: check-in time is late (four o'clock in the afternoon), check-out time is early (11 o'clock in the morning), you can't sleep in the morning; there are fewer facilities in the room, no coffee tea kettle or the like, no hair dryer, you have to drink water and the like to go to the entrance service desk"

"Excellent location, hotel, and service. There was no a/c, fridge, microwave, or iron in the room. Also, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent as there are a lot of mosquitos in the area. The restaurant was just OK. We gas our paid breakfast and the tea and coffee were cold. Also, its price wasn't mentioned in the menu."

"The location of the hotel is central and just off the Samson Mall. The service was good. The check-in process was smooth. We were informed that our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator in our building. We asked if there are other rooms on the lower floors, and the staff was kind to help us locate another room on the first floor.
The room was dated and small. There is only a small window opening to the hallway and it was quite hot and stuffy even at night. It was not good value for ＞USD$400 per night given the room quality. With the similar price point, we might opt for accommodations in downtown Banff which comes with better rooms, various dining/shopping options, but with extra 35 minutes drive."

"I've visited this hotel a few times throughout the years and although the hotel looks a bit tired outside I was pleasantly surprised on the many improvements starting with a nice breakfast to start the day, nice modern rooms and showers (mine was on the main building), comfy bed. Hotel also they provide a few items in the room (hand warmers, trail mix snack, coco, coffee, etc.)
Staff was attentive and professional.
This hotel is in a good spot if you're planning to hit the ski hill, lake Louise, or the multiple trails in the area."
