Best hotel staff and reception in particular. Helped us with a smooth check in despite last minute arrangement. Chef restaurant is a hidden gem. Will definitely come back!!!!

Beautiful setting. Comfy bed, clean and quiet for the most part. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Short walk to town square, about 45 min to Florence and Sienna. Ate dinner here only one night of 5 as food was not great. My fish was fishy-tasting and cold. Their olive oils and wines are good, especially the oil.

We stayed here for 5 nights. A good location for seeing the sights in Tuscany. We had 2 separate rooms in the same building. .The beds were comfortable, but our rooms had bars on all the windows . Not good if a fire was to breakout in the room. Make sure you don't have a ground floor room with window bars. Pool was nice and refreshing after a day sightseeing. Breakfast was good, but a very limited menu for dinner. I recommend eating dinner in town.

This hotel was just wonderful. The location and views were fantastic. Service was genuine and friendly. You have many choices for rooms or villas. Breakfast was included and more that you could hope for. Choose a room or villa bigger than a classic room if you are a couple. The restaurant cuisine was fresh using local farm fresh ingredients. There is a large pool with lovely views on the vineyards. This was July so it was refreshing and a perfect place to relax and read a book between splashes in the pool. It is a 5-6 minute walk to Impruneta with a typical Tuscan Piazza and beautiful Church with may places for an espresso, cappucicno, gelato and several restaurants to choose from. It was just perfect!

We stayed at this location in May 2024. When we arrived we were all hungry so we went to the restaurant. It was closed but they said we could order cocktails. The staff was not very friendly and seemed irritated that we wanted something. We had dinner there and were charged for 8ppl including double charged for entrees & wine we did not order…we were only a group of 4. They said they adjusted the bill. Another day we tried to sit at a patio table & were told we could not sit there with any food/drink not from their restaurant. We had some room issues which they didn’t seem too interested in fixing. Our trip was amazing until this experience & they overcharged us on our total bill. After reaching out to try to get reimbursed, we had to contact our credit card company. Just be sure to check your charges thoroughly before you depart. We were so disappointed as everyone else we encountered on our trip was absolutely wonderful! Personally, I would not recommend this location as there are plenty of other wonderful wineries in the area.

I stayed at Hotel Relais Villa Olmo from June 11th to June 13th, 2024, expecting a four-star experience, but was deeply disappointed. Upon arrival, we found that both the safe and phone in our room were not working. Although the safe was eventually fixed, the phone was never repaired, which was a significant inconvenience. The water supply in our room was disrupted multiple times during our stay, leaving us without water for prolonged periods. This, combined with the lack of a working phone to report the issues, was frustrating. The room also housed a noisy boiler serving multiple other rooms, which was very disruptive. Additionally, some of the restaurant staff were quite rude, which led us to dine out for the remainder of our stay. What sums up the type of hotel you’re dealing with is that management never even responded to our complaint. The lack of follow-up and accountability is troubling for a supposed four-star establishment. Overall, the hotel seems more suited to facilitate daily wine tasting excursions than to function as a proper hotel. It feels like the hotel component was just an afterthought. I hope the hotel addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

We were fortunate enough to stay in Villa UVA, which gave us our own two-story villa, private veranda, and pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Our travel concierge, Cheryl Martel, recommended this property (and planned our trip around being able to stay here) and we could not have been happier. From the dinners at the restaurant, to wine tastings at the Vineyard, and sampling the local Olive Oils produced on site, we have been in heaven. We would come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I just returned from a week at this beautiful wine and olive oil small luxury resort and give our experience five stars! The setting, accommodations and amazing personable staff made our trip something we will always cherish. Gloria helped me plan the our stay six months prior to our arrival and guided us to local tours and activities. They arranged taxi's for our trips in to Florence and were flexible in helping us when our plans change unexpectedly. The restaurant staff were all friendly and welcoming and the dinner and lunch menu's was delicious. We toured the small winery on the property and sampled the olive oils and wines in the small tasting room. The villa was a former nunnery has a wonderful history and the ancient stone building around the property are impressive and blend in beautifully into the Tuscan landscape. Impruenta is the local village walking distance from the resort and we participated in their weekend market and church service which was very special. The small size of the resort made us feel like part of their family and we so look forward to returning on our next Tuscany adventure.
