The warm welcome we got when we arrived and they service was absolutely stunning am I'm definitely coming back.

We booked here to celebrate our 25 year anniversary & we were not disappointed. The accommodation is top notch & the food is amazing. We went on a game drive which was very informative & interesting. We also had a couple's massage which I highly recommend. The only regret that I have is that we didn't stay longer!!

Absolutely blown away by the incredible Gwahumbe Game & Spa. I was more than happy to stay there forever. I fell in love with the incredible architecture and gorgeous decor throughout the lodge - the architect and interior design team have truly created a masterpiece. I stayed at the spacious and beautiful River Bend and enjoyed a spectacular views from the wrap around veranda and every gorgeously decorated room. I did not have time this trip to take advantage of River Bend’s private plunge pool and hot tub and boma. No need to leave your personal slice of heaven within River Bend (other than to go on a game drive or go to the spa or if you choose rather to eat at the lodge) The chef and his team served delicious food at dinner and breakfast at the main lodge. The friendly barista, Mondli, made sure I had piping hot (and yummy) cappuccinos whilst I watched the giraffes and zebras enjoying their early morning grazing in the lodge gardens. The personal service from every staff member was really appreciated. The last time I was at the lodge was before the wild fire and I was absolutely blown away by the incredible transformation. Congratulations to the team. If you have not been to Gwahumbe, you are missing a magical place within a breathtaking game reserve that is so close to Durban & Pietermaritzburg and an easy drive off the N3.

Overall the entire experience was beyond my expectations friendly staff with so much warmth. the establishment is situated in such a cosy & secluded place really, Quite an enjoyable experience! Also the 2 receptionist were of great help friendly warm service. Enjoyable Game drives Expirience, Tours were quite informative also Max was a star Would visit this place again.❤️❤️

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The unit was beautiful, clean, well kept and had a breathtaking infinity view. All the rooms were very spacious, the beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing.The amenities are top tier. All our family needs were catered for. Our stay was unforgettable! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, providing efficient and professional service. I would definitely recommend Gwahumbe.

The visit was great we came to celebrate my wife birthaday and the overall day was excellent we start on with game drive followed with Spa and lunch and it was day well spent.
