GGuest UserThe room is very clean. It is very close to Guangji Bridge and Xima Road, a pedestrian street, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. The boss also sent me travel tips and notes when I checked in. What I like most is the password lock in the room, which saves me from using the room card to open the door. The corresponding reminders in the room are very considerate. I will stay here again next time I come to Chaozhou

GGuest UserThis trip to Chaoshan was all about appreciating ancient architecture, and staying at the Zaiyang Old Residence, which dates back to the mid-Qing Dynasty (around 250 years old!), was absolutely magical. It's been thoughtfully restored, with every corner exuding historic charm, yet it's perfectly practical. I was especially impressed by the shower: unlimited hot water and unbelievably powerful pressure – the stream was so strong it could almost make the showerhead bounce! 😂 I couldn't have been happier with that.

It's incredibly convenient for a leisurely walk around the West Lake or exploring the historic Chaozhou Ancient City area. Inside, the hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally helpful and address any concerns promptly. Our room even featured a tatami area, perfect for unwinding. Sipping on the complimentary Phoenix Dancong tea while admiring the stunning West Lake views from the window was pure bliss – a truly serene escape that felt like 'stealing a moment of peace from a busy life'. The hotel is surrounded by numerous fantastic local Chaozhou eateries, and transportation options are incredibly convenient. Whether you prefer a rickshaw, an electric scooter, a taxi, or even a shared e-bike, you'll find them all readily available nearby.

AAnonymous UserWhen we arrived at the inn, it was already more than one o'clock in the morning, and the boss had been waiting. He told me that there were people in the store for basically 24 hours. It was no problem when we arrived at the store. It sounded very warm.
The family room has a good view, there is a balcony, there is no block nearby, you can see a large area of ancient houses around the ancient city, all aspects of health are good, that is, the hotel in the ancient city is a step ladder, but fortunately the boss has helped carry the suitcase upstairs, not bad, will come again next time. The boss has a cute cat!

SSuree ChanHotel was located in the best location, very easy to move around, all the attractions and restaurants were around in the walking distance. Staff of hotel was very friendly, very helpful.
Room and amenities were superb.
The only complaint about this hotel is no elevator so it was quite difficult for group members as all of us are over 70+ years old.

DDavidThe location right next to the main street of the city with a little park for our room was fantastic. We had a family room with a double bed and two large bunk beds. The bunk beds were a bit hard for the west. The room had a nice balcony with view on the backyard, right next to the buddhist temple.
Highly recommended.
