"The proprietress is super nice, the room is large, very clean, and the solid wood furniture is really advanced and new. There are even coffee tables and a series of tea sets. The windows of the room are large, the scenery is very good, and the bed is very clean. Really very satisfied. The air conditioner is also very new. And the proprietress is very hospitable, a super warm person, and said that the boss will drive us to Nanhuamen. Yes, it is very close to the ancient city of Phoenix, and it takes only a few minutes to drive. I forgot to take the photo when I checked in. The overall evaluation is very advanced and feels very new, strong Amway."

WWSLRI arrived late in the local area and checked in at 7:30pm. It was extremely hard to find the place, and it's not very obvious. Upon my arrival, the boss said, ”Because you are from abroad, it was difficult to contact you. We normally go and pick you up. ” The reception/ check-in area stank of cigarettes and felt so uncomfortable being in a confined area. The owner took me to my room, which was the biggest he said. It smelled musky/damp, but the bed was soft and comfortable. Since I was only staying for 2 nights. The second night, the card key didn't work. Texted the owner, and he said it needs to be checked in every day, which he didn't mention. Luckily, I left my window open during the afternoon and managed to open the door from the side. There is a mini fridge, but it makes a lot of noises, so I have to unplug it. The bathtub was really nice. Breakfast is good, a bowl of hot noodle soup, hot fresh soya milk. .

NNatalieThe hotel is at an excellent location if you want to stay within the city but at the quieter end. The room was much older than the photos shown on the website and it's not the cleanest. We have initially booked the top floor with an outdoor bathtub, unfortunately there were a big young group staying on our floor and made a lot of noises in the evening, so we ended up moving to the 2nd floor (twin bed with a balcony room type) which was a lot better and look slightly newer.
Though the communication was not the most straight forward, but the staffs were helpful and helped us to call taxis to/from the high speed railway (RMB40). The room came with 1 x free entrance to the local Miao Village but the catch is that you'll need to book a car to get there. We were kind of interested and didn't mind paying the extra cost to get there (which I guess would be on a higher end), but the departure time that was offered to us was not flexible (even though in theory it's a private driver that we will hire for 3-4 hours) and so we didn't go.

MM258174****The location is excellent, very close to the performance venue, and the riverside views are absolutely stunning. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond: she drove us to the bus station to catch a taxi and even helped us with our luggage in the rain. A huge thank you to her! The scenery was so beautiful that I couldn't resist extending my stay for another day.

GGuest UserThe inn was quite easy to find. We had contacted the owner in advance, and he directed us to a parking lot. After parking our car, we took our luggage and boarded a shuttle. It dropped us off just outside the ancient city, and the inn was right across the bridge. The owner has a very cute blue cat that my son absolutely loved playing with. There are tables and chairs right outside the inn, which was perfect for relaxing. In the evenings, after a long day of exploring, we'd come back, sit down, and listen to the lively sounds of the alley. The bustling Hongqiao area is also within walking distance, so it was great to take a stroll every day. We stayed for 3 nights, which was convenient as we didn't have to pack up constantly. On the third day, the owner kindly upgraded us to a room on the third floor, which was more spacious. Traveling during the off-peak season made the whole experience very comfortable and leisurely!

Ccarlos castenadaperfect location. our balcony was on the shady side of the river near the bridge and shops. friendly knowledgeable staff greeted us at the street then helped with our luggage to the hotel, which is an easy 1 block walk from the street. balcony overlooks the boat ride on the river, which lights up beautifully at night. more live music and singers per square block than anywhere west of Shanghai! (i'm a light sleeper, so i use white noise and ear plugs. all the music ended by 11 PM). endless hanfu rentals, shops, eateries, as well as historic artifacts to explore. one of the most intriguing water towns i've ever experienced. maybe even better than Venice. Fenghuang has the water, history, and fun, but not the massive tourist influx and is on a more human scale.

GGuest UserThe view from the room is absolutely stunning — right next to the bridge, with a perfect view of it! The location is also great, with shops and restaurants nearby.
It took us a little while to find the hotel at first, so here’s a tip: when you’re in front of the pedestrian street, switch to Google Maps (not Amap) to guide you. You’ll need to walk down a short staircase (nothing difficult compared to other hotels), then follow the small alleyways. It’s not complicated at all — just make sure you’re using Google Maps, because with Amap we couldn’t find it.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Especially the person at the reception — we were running late for our train and he truly did everything he could to help us get there on time.
We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again!

Mmakia11It’s a wonderful place to stay. The room is spotless and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, and the heating worked perfectly in cold weather. The location is also excellent.
The only downside was the bathtub area, which looked different from the pictures. In reality, it has a half-open window instead of a full-size one, so in winter, cold air comes in, making it too cold to take a bath. But in spring or summer, it must be a great experience!
All in all, we had a wonderful, cozy stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

RRaooooooooThe room was amazing because it’s at the center of the ancient city. They also have washing machine which was very helpful although it didn’t have the drying feature but we just hung our clothes so it wasn’t really a problem. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. I traveled with my mom (64yo) and aunt (52yo). We had many luggages so we were very afraid of having to carry it up & down the stairs. 1 day before our arrival I texted them via Wechat and they said they’ll be waiting for us at the stair to help us carry the luggages. The owner and the front desk lady not only helped us on our arrival but also on our departure at 8am in the morning.
They helped us to buy the boat ticket which I’d say is a must! The boat ride was definitely my top highlight of visiting China. They also helped to book our morning car ride to the station. All in all, their helpfulness was what makes the stay felt so comfortable.
10/10 definitely would recommend to anyone.

JJasminiagThis Inn is well located in the city. About a 7 minute walk from the gates. Easy to find. Rooms are spacious and clean. The garden is beautiful and quite. Air conditioning works and shoots hot. Beds are very comfortable. Host is kind and patient. She helped me book tickets for a theatre show and also gave me breakfast. I extended my stay an 2 nights. I will absolutely stay again.
