We visited the hotel to spend the weekend with friends. We live in Switzerland but had not visited the Bernese Oberland before. The trip by train from Interlaken to Brienz and onward to the hotel is very charming and beautiful. Our room was small but very comfortable. There was little storage to hang out or lay out clothing. On the other hand, the in-room sauna was a real delight. Thank you! The hotel experience is based a family business which makes wooden toys, especially wooden cows. Frankly, this is completely wasted on me and I don't see the attraction. We ate twice in Alfred's restaurant. The food was good. The service was excellent. The variety was limited.

Super cooles Hotel. Modern eingerichtet, schlicht , alles passt zusammen, bis ins Detail. Sehr netter Empfang. Die Lage des Hotel ist super für Ausflüge. Ruhig gelegen. Sehr Hundefreundlich. Die Chefin des Hauses sehr freundlich, packt überall an wo gerade Hilfe nötig ist. Sehr sympathisch.

Es ist sehr sehr freundlich, es fühlt sich an wie zuhause. Wir sind extrem zufrieden. Wir wurden anfangs sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen. Da alle mit dem Du angesprochen werden macht das ganze Familiär. Die Zimmer sind sehr süss und herzig eingerichtet.

Ich durfte meinen 70. Geburtstag, mit meiner ganzen Familie, in der Erlebniswelt und im Restaurant ALFRED, feiern. Die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit vom ganzen Trauffer-Team war überwältigend!!!! Die Krönung war dann noch die Übernachtung im Bretterhotel. Wir danken noch einmal auf diesem Weg dem KUH-Team!!!! Bis bald.

Sehr interessant und empfehlenswert. Die Idee der Holzkuh wurde durchgehend im ganzen Konzept liebevoll durchgezogen. Sehr gutes Essen und das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unmittelbare Nähe zum Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg hat noch zum Gelingen unseres Aufenthaltes beigetragen.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce super hôtel avec mes deux garçons de 8 et 6 ans qui ont adoré la chambre avec le toboggan. Le musée Trauffer est sympa, même si le tour est assez vite fait avec des enfants qui ne lisent pas tous les panneaux. Petit-déjeuner de qualité. De plus, cet hôtel est idéalement situé pour aller visiter le musée de Ballenberg (5-10minutes à pieds). La région est magnifique et il y a beaucoup de possibilités de randonnées et autres.

Schon beim eintreten fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Herrliches Nachtessen im Alfreds. Frühstück gute Auswahl. Im ganzen Hotel herrschte eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet es hat alles was man braucht. Was uns besonders gefallen hat war die Du Kultur, einfach gemütlich. In der Tiefgarage gibt es Ladestationen für die E Autos. Wir kommen wieder.
