Huangshan Hotels with Wifi

A much better hotel comparing to BaiYun hotel in terms of the condition of the facilities and rooms. It is just newer, better and serve better FOOD . But since Baiyun is located in the Front Mountain , and Xihai on the back mountain , one would still have to stay at BaiYun if they are planning to climb front mountain , and one have to stay at XiHai if planning to climb Back Mountain. Remember Huangshan is divided into 3 areas , Front , Back and DaXiaGu with 73 peaks in total ! If you dont mind the cost , XIhai hotel is the best hotel if you are climbing the Back Mountains. Note : Huangshan is just too big , you need to see the map and plan properly before attempting ! The photos i posted is the view from the hotel ! The location is very good, and it is convenient for shopping, but parking is inconvenient. Fortunately, you can park on the roadside during holidays. The room is very clean, tidy, newly decorated, and the scenery outside the window is also good. The furnishings in the room are also new, and the pillows are very comfortable. The shower head can be replaced, and the bathroom door has some problems and can be repaired. The sound insulation effect of the room is not very good. In general, this price is worth it.

Overall a very nice stay. The location of the hotel is good for a one night stay as it is towards the back. Reached the hotel mid day to check in and unload stuff in our bag so the remainder of the day walk is on a lighter load. The price of the dinner buffet at the hotel is on the higher side compared to the lunch buffet (2 times more). Nor much choice at night given the timing.

After walking across the whole mountain, i can safely say shillin had the most convenient location. Super friendly staff and fresh clean rooms. Even provided free utensils such as water and toothbrushes even though this was not promised due to the difficulty in transporting goods to the location. Went up to see the sunrise at the monkey peak which was amazing. Only minus is that the optional dinner was mid for a fairly high price, however this can be overlooked considering the circumstances!

Location is depending on whether you want to be close to transport links—which we did so it worked out well for us! Bus station opposite will take you to the scenic area of Huangshan, or you can take a Didi for around 140-160rmb. Bus is about 30-something. Bus takes an hour and the car took us 40 minutes (December time). The hotel itself is lovely. The room was nice and the bed was large (but firm). The breakfast was enjoyable. As a veggie, I ate well. There aren’t any shops nearby but there is a place you can buy snacks in the hotel. The staff were lovely, especially the guy who is doing his internship (I’m sorry but I darent write the name in case I mess up, haha). He helped us with understanding Huangshan park and was generally a really nice person! The two ladies on the reception also really helped with getting to the park! I recommend staying here! Super foreign friendly :))

Location is the best, walking distance to Tunxi Old Street. Staff are great, even though they can't speak English, but always helpful to us. The room is clean, but a little bit old. Very spacious room for 4 persons, with mezzanine floor. Will stay here again if I go to Tunxi / Huangshan.

We booked this place to stay the night before our overnight trip to Huangshan. The hotel is located between the Tangkou bus station and the Huangshan entrance gates, so you might have to take another bus or taxi (which however are very cheap to get there. The shuttle bus you need to take in the morning is in walking distance though. Upon arrival, the host gave us a free upgrade after a friendly conversation and a lot of good advice for the following trip to the mountain. The room we stayed in was probably one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in on our travels in Asia, and definitely the best value for money so far. The hotel also offers free luggage storage and offered us to borrow some hiking poles (which we unfortunately forgot in the morning). When we came back the day after, we were even allowed to take a quick shower before getting on our Taxi out of town. Overall, we couldnt have wished for a better stay and would recommend anyone visiting Huangshan to stay here.

Irreplaceable Location: Right near Guangming Peak, it’s the prime spot for sunrise, sunset, and sea of clouds! Watching the sunrise requires no long trek in the morning, saving significant energy. Just a short walk (about 15-20 minutes) from the hotel door gets you to the best viewing point – friendly for families with seniors/children or anyone wanting to avoid exhaustion! Clean & Cozy Rooms: Mountain-top conditions are limited, but the room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bedding was dry and comfortable (crucial in the humid high altitude!), and being able to take a hot shower and sleep soundly after a day of hiking was pure bliss. Window to a Fairyland: Our room window faced the valley. When mist swirled, it was like a fairyland, on clear days, we could admire the majestic, overlapping mountain peaks. Lying in bed enjoying the mountain views – it's totally worth it! Breakfast: The variety at the mountaintop buffet breakfast was impressive for such a high altitude. Getting a hot, filling breakfast like this at 1,800+ meters to fuel up for the day's adventures was absolutely essential and deeply satisfying! Special praise for Steward Huang(黄星华)! Her service was super warm and attentive, providing loads of practical information from check-in guidance to itinerary suggestions. Upon checkout, she thoughtfully gave us a small gift. While not expensive, this gesture felt incredibly warm and heartfelt.

Very good service, my family encountered our passport/ID/bag self “sleep walking” problem, but the hotel was able to help us to relocate and retrieve them, very grateful! Staffs are extremely helpful and rapid response, will definitely recommended! Come anytime, if there is any trouble they will help !

Very nice and clean hotel. Hotel’s location is also very conveniently located right by the bus station that will take you to Mount Huangshan’s entrance. The staffs were amazing and have been very helpful. They borrowed me their lightning cable to test and see if my phone was faulty or my cable as it was completely drenched by the rain when I was above the mountain. Even directed me to where I can get myself a new cable. They also allowed us to leave our luggage there after checking out as we wanted to check out Hongcun Village. They even said farewell with a complimentary gift when we were about to leave. Overall, I had a really good experience staying at this hotel that I would definitely book here again in the future if I were to stay in Tangkou.
