"A very comfortable hotel to stay in! Whether it is the beauties in the front hall or the handsome guys at the gate, the service is very warm, thoughtful and considerate~ I live in 216. There is a threshold at the door, and the robot can't get up. It was the handsome guy in the front hall who ran up to send me~ When checking out, Ms. Wang in the front hall was patient and considerate~
The room was clean and hygienic, of moderate size, and I was given an upgrade. The mattress was a mousse one~ (professional habit... I even looked through other people's mattresses...), the breakfast was rich, with everything you need, but I went a little late... some dishes were out 😂
Because I have been working in the hotel industry and I travel frequently on business, I am quite picky about hotels within the reimbursement range. This is one of the hotels I particularly liked that I stayed in recently. The only thing is that it is a little far from the city center, but it is only 1 km away from Zhangjiakou Station... Anyway, I will definitely stay here again next time I come!"

The breakfast was not very good. There were many people on holidays but few seats. There were only large tables, no small tables, so everyone had to eat together. The table turnover was slow, so you might have to wait for a seat if you want to go out early~

"Room was warm and stuffy. Staff did not mention the air conditioner was not in use prior to check in. There werent enough ventilation through the night as there only one small window that could be opened, and there’s an air purifier, which they mentioned could function as a fan but with minimal efficacy. Staff did mention about changing room at night when we informed then it was warm, but we dont think that would make any difference at all. All in all, we suggest they provide a proper electric fan which serves a good alternative to switching off the main air conditioner due to autumn."

"The sound insulation of the house is not good, you can hear people talking in the corridor. The temperature of the faucet in the bathroom shower cannot be adjusted. Either the water temperature is extremely high and the water flow is large, or the cold water flow is small. I reported the problem to the front desk, and the front desk said it could only be adjusted slowly. It seemed that it was an installation problem, and I couldn't take a shower at all."

MMusaThis is the fourth year I have stayed at Zhangjiakou International Hotel. The hotel's facilities and services are excellent. This time I slept on the buckwheat pillow in the hotel room and I felt it was great. I even bought two to take home. During the stay, the staff decisively changed the room because of the noise problem on the floor. As long as the problem was raised, the staff would help solve it as soon as possible. It was great!

The hotel's convenient location, just a 10-minute drive from the town center, made exploring a breeze. While shopping options nearby are limited, the HU WA restaurant on the hotel's first floor is a must-try, serving delicious dishes at affordable prices!
Breakfast at the hotel was impressive, with a wide variety of options and top-notch service.
We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent staff, comfortable stay, and great location!
A special tip for snow ski/board beginners: this resort is an excellent place to start! However, consider renting equipment in town, as prices are nearly half compared to other ski resorts. Although the rental fees are higher here, the equipment and clothing are relatively new, less than a year old.

YYanglongdaiwangBig thanks to Eva for upgrading us to a suite; she was incredibly warm and friendly. The housekeeping staff was also very kind and helped me find a buckwheat pillow. It's really cool up here in the mountains, about ten degrees cooler than Beijing, making it perfect for a summer escape from the heat.
There's a shuttle bus service to the high-speed rail station and the forest park, though we didn't catch it. Taxis are also very convenient, so if you prefer more flexibility, you can easily just take one. Breakfast was good, and dinner featured Southeast Asian cuisine, along with some sashimi – pretty standard fare for a Crowne Plaza. The balcony was nice, but there were a lot of bugs due to being in the mountains. I imagine it would be better in winter.
There are a few restaurants within the resort, though dining options are a bit limited. We ate out one day and at the hotel the other, and both were decent. There's also a small convenience store where you can pick up some drinks and alcohol.
There's a library at the top of the mountain, accessible by the resort's cable car, and the views from there are absolutely stunning. The forest park is great for hiking; it's not too hot and the sunshine is lovely. You can also drive up to the summit for photos, where the scenery is beautiful with lots of trees – truly a natural oxygen bar. We'll definitely come back here for our next vacation!

The in-room amenities were quite sparse, and the bedding didn't provide much warmth – something to consider if you're traveling with elderly guests who are sensitive to cold. There's a hot spring, but its quality was also mediocre. All things considered, one visit was more than enough.

Escaping Beijing's recent heavy rain and humid heat, I discovered the Chongli Fulong Resort Hotel, and it truly felt like finding a hidden gem! The moment you step in, you're struck by its grandeur. The architecture is incredibly stylish and blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and natural scenery.
But the absolute highlight was its cooling effect! Chongli itself is known for its mild summers, but the hotel takes it to another level – it's delightfully cool inside. During the day, a stroll outside with a gentle breeze felt incredibly refreshing. At night, you even need a light blanket, otherwise it gets a bit chilly!
The dining was superb too! The restaurant offered a fantastic array of delicious dishes. The local specialties were incredibly authentic and flavorful, and even the Western cuisine was exquisitely prepared. I ate to my heart's content at every meal; I simply couldn't stop!
The staff were all smiles and incredibly welcoming. Any request I had was addressed immediately. I had initially planned for just one night, but I promptly decided to extend my stay!

**Service:** I booked a quad room, and having stayed here before in similar rooms, I've always received water park tickets and breakfast for four. So, I didn't bother checking the details this time. To my shock, upon check-in, the front desk informed me that only breakfast for two was included! I was absolutely fuming! When I brought this issue up with the front desk, the 'lady' there simply repeated, 'It only includes breakfast for two,' then rolled her eyes at me, and buried her head in her computer. She completely ignored everything else I said! I came here with my elderly parents and children during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday – was it to be treated like this? Whether or not my request could be fulfilled is one thing, but that attitude is completely unacceptable! I later found out that each room only includes breakfast for two, regardless of how many people are staying in it. It's just 'hotel policy'! I've stayed in countless hotels, and I've never encountered such an outrageous policy! Even after Ctrip tried to mediate, it was to no avail. I still had to pay extra for breakfast for the other two people! The hotel's greed is truly disgusting; you are in the service industry! Thankfully, Ctrip stepped in and resolved the issue for me. Ironically, the restaurant service this year was much better than before; plates and trash on the tables were cleared away very promptly. Room service was also very quick, and staff members were ready to guide and help with luggage as soon as we arrived in the lobby. These aspects were all excellent. However, the front desk, which should represent the hotel's image, was utterly dismissive and truly terrible!
**Facilities:** The lawn and rooms were decent, not much different from previous visits. The bathroom drainage in the room was a bit slow, and the door's weatherstripping was damaged, but these didn't significantly impact our stay. The shower water wasn't particularly hot. Before, the water was very hot, making for a wonderfully comfortable shower. Now, it's just lukewarm, not cold, but certainly not hot. The mattresses on the bunk beds were incredibly hard, leaving me with a sore back after one night. What's most baffling is that the hotel's best feature, the water park, was under maintenance during a major holiday – something I've never encountered before. Moreover, the water temperature in the water park was colder than before; my child kept sneezing and had to come out after just half an hour. The water quality in the water park was also noticeably cloudier than before, as shown in Picture 1.
In summary, I will not be returning to this hotel, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. It simply doesn't justify its price tag of over 2000 yuan per night.

JJiangquancunMy experience at the Thaiwoo Hotel in Chongli Thaiwoo Town far exceeded my expectations! Upon arrival, standard rooms were fully booked, so the hotel kindly upgraded us directly to a suite – a thoughtful and delightful surprise. The suite itself was incredibly spacious, and the balcony was a true highlight. Stepping out, you're greeted with continuous mountain views and charming town scenery. Sitting there in the morning, enjoying the refreshing breeze, was so relaxing I hardly wanted to move.
The town's climate was incredibly pleasant; there was even a refreshing coolness in the air when we first arrived. Compared to the stifling heat of the city, it felt like a natural oxygen bar. The amenities in the area are excellent, with a wide variety of dining options ranging from local cuisine to casual eateries, and the service everywhere was spot on. For activities, hiking, cycling, or simply strolling around the town are all delightful, so you don't need to venture far to have a great time.
Overall, the hotel's service was consistently top-notch. Their flexible handling of our room upgrade really made a great impression. Both the comfort of the accommodation and the convenience of the surroundings were virtually faultless. Next time I visit Thaiwoo Town, I'll definitely stay here again. It's truly rare to find a place that perfectly balances beautiful scenery, ideal temperatures, and outstanding service.

The room was clean and tidy, the layout was warm and comfortable, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the hotel staff had a great service attitude, the location was also excellent, and the surrounding transportation was convenient. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Chongli for skiing next time. I highly recommend it to everyone!
