"Location was average.
Check in was quick.
3 bedroon apartment was spacious but basic. No other information about hotel or room service provided.
Living room sofa was worn and uncomfortable. Tv looked small, didnt use.
Kitchen lacked pots pans, utensils, sufficient plates bowls, etc to cook. What was provided was pathetic. Liked the water dispenser.
3 bedrooms were alright. Toilets were alright.
Not face or hand towels available.
Had 2 long power trips during the first night stay. Everything including lifts in apartment block had zero power for more than 1h. Another power trip likely happened and cut power to our unit for hours (needed to reinsert the access card into the entrance card slot). Lacked of backup power to the building presents a serious fire safety issue in case of evacuation! No significant service recovery at all.
Buffet breakfast restaurant lacked capacity to handle crowds. What looked like decent range of food was very starch heavy and lacked proteins and vegetables. Slow to replenish items. Lacked quality, food taste was meh.
Hotel had banners selling stays and vitamin infusions for hypertension cure and other problems... Complete sham medicine!
Wont stay here again! Even my 4 kids completely agree!!"

"I had a remarkably generous experience with our room being upgraded to a suite. I appreciate the concept of an open wardrobe and the spacious room, which features comfortable bedding, pillows, and linens. The bathroom is equipped with different types of towels, as well as travel-sized body products including conditioner, body lotion, and a two-in-one shampoo, along with a shower cap. However, there was a lack of a razor.
I prefer bath slippers that offer water absorption and cushioning, as they are more comfortable after long journeys than hard-edged slippers, which can cause blisters on my delicate skin. I spent my day swimming, although the gym is not yet ready for use, and there is no steam room available. There are many dining options, including a BBQ at the poolside, as well as a spa and salon in the Thamrin Batam area, making it very convenient for those who have a few days to experience everything in this young, lively, and vibrant atmosphere."

"Everything is almost good but was not told that there was on going renovations next door during 9am to 5pm daily until our arrival.
Our bedroom also can hear the morning prayers of the mosque at 4:45am in spite of us requesting repeatly for a quiet facing room weeks before arrival."

"Highly recommended hotel! The service was tip top! During check in I checked with the front desk staff whether they have any double bed room left because I booked a twin sharing room but my son was with me during the trip so I will need to squeeze with him in a single bed but unfortunately, on the day all rooms were fully booked so they did not have any extra room. But when I opened up the room door I was surprised by what they had done with the room they actually joined the twin sharing bed into one bed. They even gave me a complimentary dinner. It's really nice of them. Will definitely book from them again."

"Loved our stay here! The rooms were clean, spacious, well furnished and comfy. The aircon is amazing. The breakfast spread is good, but quite slow service and refilling. Our cappuccino was very delayed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the security, door men and bag service men. Location is fantastic, walkable to BCS Mall and Grand Batam mall."

"Always a pleasure to return to Favehotel. This time I came with my family and took 4 rooms. Love the spacious room and it is the main reason why I kept returning to Favehotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Bedsheets and towels are always crisps and fluffy. Room water pressure is very good. If water drainage at the sink and shower could be work on then the rooms are perfect
Ferdi @reception was excellent in arranging our 4 rooms in a row including a set of connecting rooms. This help me tremendously in assisting my elderly family members.
Another reason i chose the Favehotel is the surrounding compound. The streets and pavements are well developed and clean. Great for elderly individuals whom otherwise may trip over debris due to uneven terrain once you step outside the hotel like most other hotels in Batam
Thamrin City development are the best! Hope they continue to maintain the cleanliness and in doing so attracts more to stay in this premise!"

"not a new hotel but refurbished hotel but still in good condition. we stayed for 3D2N. the room is not too big but because I booked a connecting room so it feels spacious for the 4 of us. the room is clean, they changed the bed sheets with clean ones when we first checked in the hotel. the towels also smell good. the breakfast is also delicious. there are fried rice, sausages, chicken porridge on 1st day , chicken soto on 2nd day, fruits, salad, several choices of pastry, eggs cooked with several choices. grilled chicken for the 1st day/ sweet and sour fish for 2nd day. vegetables, fried noodles, dessert is banana kolak for the 1st day/ sweet potato kolak for 2nd day. And several choices of drinks. the staff named Adalina is very friendly. offered us coffee drinks and delivered them to our table. we love her hospitality and for sure we will come back again. before I left the hotel. I registered to become a member hotel with them during check out time because I think next time I will stay at Swiss bel hotel in another city or country. but until today I have not received an email reply from the hotel."

"This hotel is incredibly convenient, clean, and pleasant. Its absolute biggest advantage is its location, right next to Nagoya Shopping Mall and 168 Food Court. Plus, there are numerous massage parlours nearby. The price is also very reasonable. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip. Excellent!"

"Excellent hotel. Staffs are welcoming, warm and polite. Cleanliness is impeccable. Excellent location - ＜5 mins walk to 2 malls (grand batam mall, city square mall) and, massages shop. Just beside the hotel is A2 food court. At night, there's a row of food stalls at roadside of the hotel. Opposite the hotel there's a convenience shop and many restaurants, penuin wet market is there as well. Breakfast is rich in variety from western to local Indonesian, including an Indomee stall.
Overall, it's a 10/10 recommendation!"

They serve quite a decent breakfast as well with a live Indomie station 👌 Only issue I have is the shower and bedroom is separated by glass and a translucent curtain! Rather awkward situation… otherwise this hotel is new and great! Will come back again!

From check in process very smoothly. Rooms are very clean and well equip. Bed and pillow are comfortable makes you sleep soundly.
Breakfast have variety food to choose from bread station, porridge station, noodle station, main menu dishes, fruits, salads, cakes and dessert so mych to eat. Restaurant condition is vey big and clean. Staff are very friendly supportive. Thumbs up to Aston 👍🏻

Jjoyce yongI think the other reviews on trip.com are not accurate. Hotel is not refurbished. Deco is nice in room and everywhere. But all are old, with stains, dust and even cobwebs. Toilet routings are blackish with wat looks like old stains. The worst part is the water pipings. I suspect their pipes are rusty, as water for shower n sink smells metallic and yellowish in color.
The pillow n bolster all smells musty, feels really old.
Good that studio room has pantry, big fridge and bath tub.
The breakfast options are limited, taste is just normal.

TTeeCThe hotel is centrally located between 2 malls of about 400m walking range. It's near to eateries , example A2 food court is just beside it. The service was excellent, kudos to one if the house keeping crew we met in the corridor. We requested , feedback on several issues with our room, firstly faulty kettle, rain shower head as well as unsecured lock at the door. All were promptly dealt with and rectified before we were back at night. The breakfast has a decent variety and menu changes on the 2 full days were had them. The only 2 small complaints is perhaps the absence of a mini bar fridge in such a huge room and also tv was a tad too small as it was very far away from the beds .

Could improve overall room standard by ensuring the cups used in the room are well washed and cleaned without stains. Location is great - next to Circle-K minimart and warung kopi. Lots of massage shops nearby. Walking distance to BCS mall and A2 foodcourt.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the beautiful scenery—the views from the hotel are absolutely stunning and create such a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and well-kept, with comfortable rooms and all the basic amenities I needed.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and the overall experience pleasant. Its location also makes it easy to explore nearby attractions, yet it feels peaceful and quiet when you’re back at the hotel.
If you’re looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay with great views, Hans Inn Hotel is a fantastic choice. I’d definitely come back again!
