The farmhouse is located 10 minutes from Nemi with its Lake, 15 minutes from Albano and Castel Gandolfo, only 20 minutes from the sea (Tor San Lorenzo).DESCRIPTION The Casale del Gelso enjoys a spectacular view of the Circeo promontory and its islands, the sun terrace and the vast park surrounding the Casale are completed with tables, chairs, deckchairs and numerous relaxation areas with cushions and sofas, barbecue area and wood oven.The Vagaggini’s family owns Casale del Gelso since many years. It is based on the agro Romano and it was built during the early 900’. The main structure runs around the medieval tower, and it is surrounded by a park with plants and olive trees. We started in 2011 the restoration of the main building with great care and love for the style we wanted to keep in. Demolition materials were reused in a creative way : the old roof tiles have become the square in front of the portico, the use of terracotta, wood, green Tuff and the renovated old furniture with shabby chic style have given a special warm and harmonious atmosphere all around the Casale. Rural elements can be found in the large arch, in the barn and in the oven.
