Stayed for three nights while visiting Cape Breton Island and were pleased with accommodations. For us it was centrally located and in Cabot Trail. Cottage was well equipped. Clean and well kept. Only 22 minutes from Cabot Cliffs which was great golf

If you are looking for a dream place to stay on your beautiful Cape Breton vacation, do not drive any further and make a turn at Forks from Cabot trail to CAJUN Cottages. It has it all, plus a very friendly land lady. The cottages have all the amenities, incl. kitchen, fridge and air conditioning, nice balcony awith a great vies.Ideal for fishermen, as the river is just across the road. Rnjoy.

We’ve stayed at the Cajun Cabins so many times we’ve lost count. The cabins are clean and cozy and well stocked for longer stays. The location is perfect for enjoying the best of summer in Cape Breton: nature at the Highlands Park and music at Broad Cove and the Barn at the Normaway. Angela the host is super friendly and helpful and keeps the place sparkling. We have reservations for next year and we’ll be back!

The Cajun Cedar Log Cottages are ideally located in the beautiful Margaree Valley. The setting for and the panoramic view from these meticulously cared for cottages is second to none. Your host, Angela, puts a lot of love into the cleanliness, decorating, maintenance and outfitting of each and every one of her cottages. My stay was so enjoyable and relaxing that my wife and I are returning on July 4th for another week’s stay with Angela at her first class Cajun Cedar Log Cottages. We highly recommend them to all travellers wishing to have the best possible experience during their stay in the oh so special Margaree Valley.

These cabins are stunning! I stayed in the single cabin with my partner and small dog. Angela was extremely accommodating, not to mention our stay was during Hurricane Fiona. She made sure we were safe, prepared, and cozy the entire time. The property is large and well maintained which our dog loved playing in. The location is a short drive to Cheticamp and Iverness. Highly recommend staying here for a few nights :)

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay in order to be close to the Margaree River. The Cajun Cedar Cabins were perfect. Nice cabins with our own kitchenette and gas grill on the porch. Clean, neat and well appointed. AC was available, but we didn’t need it at all. Most occupants were fly fishermen as well. The property has an easy walk access to the Margaree and located within an easy drive to other spots. Proprietress Angela couldn’t have been nicer. Well worth a return!! Would recommend to friends, family and fishermen.

We had a great stay! Cabins were nice, well maintained and super clean. (My mother was with us and she was happy with cleanliness. That says something ) Angela was a great hostess! Very quiet place, rustic, clean and spacious log cabin. All amenities are present. Very good bed and slept like a log. Localisation is 30 minutes from Cheticamp, closest largest village with lots of excellent restaurant. You are also 35-40 minutes to great hiking trails Skyline and the Acadian one. Angela the owner is very nice and tends to all our needs. Very friendly and respectful of our privacy. Would go back anytime.

Spent 2 nights at Cajun Cedar lodge, located on Margaree River in Cape Breton. Beautiful log cottage, very clean. Bed was very comfortable, great view (as you can see from added picture, taken from the porch) best night sleep i had in a long time. Great location, close to best salmon/trout pools, right on the Cabot trail.
